I love this pier! Great views and photo ops, it’s also a nice walk. It’s also free, a lot of piers charge even if you aren’t fishing so I really appreciate that. There is an arcade and snack bar as well.

Been here for years but never checked out the bar area with music karaoke that is every afternoon. Finally did and really had fun. People sing and are really pretty good even. Nice seating area with shade umbrellas. Free, free, free too while other piers charge to enter. Kids can hangout there too.

We walk over ever morning, get a cup of coffee & set on pier.
It's so relaxing.
Talk to the guys fishing as we walk out to end of pier.
The food at the Cafe is good & always a smiling face.

The pier and whole area are great. Lots of people fishing off all ends of the pier. A cool little arcade when you enter. The bars weren’t open but if they are, you can grab a drink and relax on the pier to some pretty amazing views.

I would call Garden City, SC a perfect destination for all ages. There is plenty of beach to share, it is very quiet for retirees but at the same time theres a large beach, waterparks and miniature golf for families with children as well as Myrtle Beach State Park minutes away with a nature center, multiple trails, fishing pier and store and a large beach space. It is also one of the most affordable beaches you could venture to. There is a variety of restaurants for everyone's taste but also a large Kroger if you prefer to buy groceries and eat in.

Loved the view, food good especially because of the appetizers and drinks at happy hour. See the view outside or inside

Love the small town 'beachy' atmosphere of the pier and surrounding area, only a few miles south of the commercial, touristy Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed both environments on different days. In response to "moochtn"...If you are serious about only wanting rest/relaxation, we stayed just a mile north at the Holiday Inn, right on the beach. It was quiet and relaxing. At night all we heard was the waves spilling onto the beach. There is a pool, hot tub, and fire pit area. Very romantic evening lighting. I believe we heard the faint booming of the fireworks, down the beach at the pier, but not obtrusive by any means. It did make us curious to find out what was going on...especially after all that 'rest and relaxation' ...know what I mean?

I did not eat anything there but had one glass of wine which was reasonably priced. Sadly there was no draft beer. Music was great. Enjoyed Kareoke too. Social distancing was not being observed by everyone.

This area was beautiful at sunrise. We saw several thousand starfish. The beach is beautiful and more clear than the water over at Myrtle Beach. The waves were more calm as well.
