So much work has gone into this production, and from all volunteers! It was uplifting and simply great! I highly recommend anyone to see any of their productions!Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten February 18, 2024

The message goes direct to the heart and they have some great songs and voices. We enjoy Narroway every time. They also served dinner and it was delicious.Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 9, 2024
- Sherry W3 contributionsCaptivating Experience of Hope and RedemptionMy sisters and I visited NarroWay productions on March 16, 2024 ti see “The 4th Cross”. The show was captivating, filled with hope and redemption, with the presence of God evident throughout the entire performance. Each act was a reflection of God’s Word. The meal was perfect but I wish we had been given a little longer to finish our meal. We felt rushed. The cast was warm and engaging, embodying the spirit of Jesus with their servant-like demeanor. We will be going back soon.Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 17, 2024

The current show was spectacular! Food and service was excellent! If you enjoy biblical entertainment, this is the place to go. It is hard to imagine all of the cast are volunteers. A Special shout out to 'Barabbas' who provided the beutiful tulips we won. Rebecca and Bertie never disappoint!Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 17, 2024
- Tea JPhenix City, Alabama21 contributionsGreat show, great food, great message! This is a lovely little dinner theatre with a Christian message. The show was really well produced and there were some amazing voices within the cast (it was a musical). The food was really good. We were served very tender roast beef with couscous, perfectly roasted veggies, flat bread, and bread pudding with cherry sauce. Visiting Narrow Way was one of the very few highlights of our trip to Charlotte.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 29, 2024

The performers did an amazing job and the way the story was woven to depict what we are dealing with in American today was so good. The food was so delicious. A Mediterranean feast to say the least. We are so glad we added a stop for the play The Gospel According to Tennessee. This was a professional production that appeals to a wide audience and people of all ages. The children in the cast were passionate about their role and so fun to watch. It's amazing Joan this this true story of the past connected with issues we still navigate today. First of all,the unique experience started outside the doors as the actor portraying the preacher was our guide. He was very cordial and very helpful in locating our seats and getting seated.Next the food and the ones serving it were superb, the fried chicken, pintos, cobbler and Mac&cheese was outstanding!! Then came the show, the actors put on a awesome performance,it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. After I got home,I immediately ordered tickets for the Christmas show, looking forward to it,I would highly recommend a person taking in a show here!!

NarroWay never disappoints! The staff (which is also the staff!) is welcoming, pleasant and so talented! The delicious food is perfectly portioned and served. Each show is amazing but The Real Christmas Story kicked off our holiday season with story, song and biblical truth. Always a joy to visit again!

The show was great and very talented cast. However, one of the characters smoked a cigar on stage and the odor was offensive.
(I feel like a prop would have worked just fine.) I had two people in my group that suffer with respiratory issues and the smoke did affect them.

This was the worst sounding show I’ve ever been to. The singers were very weak and the acting was hard to understand their words. The biggest problem was the very loud music and poor mixing of the play. The music was so loud Ed had to cover our ears. We e been before but the problem just gets worse. They need so better people to mix the sound. If you can’t hear the words or understand the words why do it. This can be done a lot better. I’ve seen and heard many more that feel this way. Just way to loud you need ear plugs this should be required when it’s louder than a jet engine. My phone said it was about 81db. Constantly. Not good and I really can’t understand why. You should have people on the edge of their seat listening not stuffing their ears with tissue.
Great ministry I guess but somebody is getting rich off this they are giving a pittance of food and don’t even serve tea ridiculous and have gone up on the price twice in 2 years.
Are you a ministry or a money factory. Because somebody is pocketing a lot of money. If it seats by the signs. 499 people at an average of $50 per person that’s $20,000 per show and for Christmas they were doing 2 shows per day plus the week day shows. They are taking in $180,000 per week and are begging people for more money everyone I’ve been there. Greed is one of the 7 deadly SINS! It’s

We were invited as guests to attend Narroway Theater to see "The Gospel According to Tennessee." Narroway is a dinner theater experience. I am guessing that Narroway is taken from Matthew 7:13 - "Enter by the marrow gate." What you will experience is really good food with an evangelical message through a big stage musical~theater production. My big complaint was that it was loud and that detracted from the experience and the message -- what was to be conveyed. Again, we were guests. This was something I probably would not have chosen for myself, but I am glad for the experience. It was fun, but I doubt I will return.

Great show! Wonderful experience.
(Sound person - Perhaps dial back on the group reverb a bit and volume on the group sound. It got quite loud when everyone miked was singing at the same time. And the reverb became extremely muddled when all were singing.)

Lovely show. Loved the second half. Beautiful and well done. Well oiled machine with the seating and service of meal. My only complaint is there is soooo much plastic you’re disposing of every time you have a performance. All that plastic wear, meal containers and the souvenir cups so many leave behind. I shudder to think about the amount of plastic your theater alone has contributed to the local landfill. Maybe you could think of alternative ideas. I don’t think anyone would miss the meal, your show stands alone and that’s why folks come. Not for the meal.

LOVED the show, the cast, the food! Everything was top notch and an absolutely amazing experience. The cast members actually serve you and work the front desk etc. This is a must see when you come to Fort Mill. Gospel According to Tennessee is an incredible show. The actor that plays Tennessee is awesome! All the children in the show are so phenomenal. Just an absolutely amazing experience all the way around Thank you NarroWay for the Christian entertainment. Will be back.

I have previously attended and always enjoyed Narroway productions. Tonight was unfortunately very different.
I have been involved in theater productions, tech, backstage and on stage, for many years, and understand sound setup, etc. For whatever reason the sound tech setup tonight was all about reverb. Almost the entire show, dialogue and music, was so saturated with echoing reverb. Very little clarity to any words.
Oddly, there were a few small minutes when the reverb disappeared. The clarity was so striking. You could see people looking at each other as if to say “finally” or “what just happened.” Too bad those moments were few and short.

A really great show and great actors but you need to fix the sound a little better so you can hear clearly because sometimes you really didn’t hear what the were saying and you couldn’t here the words in the music the best part or the show was the end !!! Sound needs to come down a little so you can hear everything clearly other than that the show was great !! A very great theme!!! Food was ok . I going to share some good foods to try in some of your shows . 1. Meat loaf with green beans , Roll . 2. Chicken breast with okra. 3. Chilli Beans with corn on the cob with cornbread. Turkey Tinderloin with greens beans or pinto beans with cornbread!! Thank you for the great show . Irene sharpened Irene !! Good loving help .

The dinner is a set plate that is themed with the show. We do offer vegetarian and gluten-sensitive options, but no other substitutions. We do have an option to not include dinner if you prefer as well.

If celebrating an anniversary coyld it be announced at the show you are attending?
Written August 16, 2019
Yes, they announce anniversaries, birthdays, etc. Just talk to someone before they start and they will be glad to announce. Also they always give a 'thank you' to all Veterans attending.
Written August 22, 2019
Do we need to arrive at the theater prior to 5:00 for the 5:00 show if our tickets include dinner? What is the best time to arrive?
Written March 23, 2017
As long as you arrive by 5pm, you will be fine. The advertised time (in this case, 5pm) is when doors open and guests are seated. Once seated, we'll serve dinner and then begin the show when we have everyone served.
Written March 23, 2017
is there a place for disabled or elderly?
Written November 14, 2016
Absolutely! You simply need to let us know at the time of your reservation. We have special seating allotted for wheelchairs. Likewise, those with difficultly climbing steps may request front row seats. These, like any other seats, are subject to be filled on any particular date, so it's always best to call early if you have special seating needs.
Written November 14, 2016
The Christmas show has Turkey,Dressing, green beans, canberry sauce and pumpkin pie,
Written December 6, 2015
I would like to know about the seating. Where is the best place to sit? Is it comfy? Can you see the stage well?
Also, it is awkward eating in the theater seats?
Written October 16, 2015
All of the seats in the theatre are good because the seating is tiered. So, you can see well from any seat in the house. Typically, when we reserve tickets, we start from the center section and work our way to the outside sections. Most guests tend to have a preference toward the center seats by default. However, we often have people tell us that "the top of 500 is my favorite area" or the "400 section is where I always sit." So, honestly, it's really a matter of personal preference. The seats are comfortable theater-style seats with soft cushions. We made the aisles extra-large so there is plenty of room. Most guests very much enjoy the dining experience as well. You are served by the cast with special trays that snap into the cup holder of your seat. Once you are finished, you tray is removed. So, you don't have to worry about moving around from one area to the next. Feel free to let us know if you have other questions. We certainly hope to see you at the NarroWay Theatre!
