This was a surprise birthday gift to me. Wife said to just drive. I had no idea where I was going until I got there. We love dinner shows and this was one of the best! I was impressed by the number of adult and children actors and the large set it has. Good music and presentation. The theater was a good size but was intimate enough to be close to the actors and set. Very well done. The show was Jesus the Teacher. They did a great job in presenting Jesus' teachings through His parables. The dinner was good and they tied it in very well as Jesus was feeding the 5,000. Will go again if I am ever in the area or passing through. I even took a picture with Jesus!

We found the production to be great. It was our first visit there and we were so impressed with the acting and vocals of volunteers. After spending a bit of time selecting our seats online, I can say there didn’t seem to to be any bad seats- they all looked great. The entrance and shopping areas are a bit small, however the staff/volunteers were great at keeping it moving. We purchased the meal with ours. It was amazing to watch the crew so efficiently serve the meals. The food was ok, however the price we paid was well worth the show and meal. We hope to return for another show in the future.

To review we have to look at two things. What are the expectations for the evening and the performance itself. First, BRAVO owners/directors. This is a volunteer cast and they commit every night. Churches can barely get commitments for one weekend during the holidays. Your leads were great including the little girl elf who stole the show. Let's break down the evening.
1. Ticketing slow. Go mobile tickets or print at home. Please.
2. Not enough merchandise in smallish store. We went across parking lot to the store and spent a couple hundred dollars.
3. Meal was good. Tray inserts genius. Little ones helping to serve awesome.
SHOW
4. Please kill the reverb on about 3 of your solos.
5. First half confusing on setting. North Pole? If so why were there so many adults at the North Pole?
6. Traditions of Christmas well done. (Maybe not grandma's dead body)
7. Director said at intermission that they needed to change the set. I didn't really see anything moved. Like the secular Christmas tree lights for the biblical portion.
8. On that same vein, using the secular Christmas lights as the background to give the audience focus was terribly confusing. A better symbolic use of lighting would be keep those lights off until "I have Seen the Light" as a bridge between traditions and biblical portions. Invest in a followspot.
9. Musical highlight was "I Have Seen the Light". The transition to cross and final song were unclear and the last song was unmemorable.
10. Pilate was waaay underdressed as a Roman procounsel.
11. It looked like 6 wisemen, 6 gifts, 3 lessor dressed, 3 richly dressed. Because of the six gifts carried maybe just three gifts carried by attendants then they hand gifts to the big 3.

David Knight is an illusionist accompanied by his wife, Sylvie. Show is somewhat hokey but great family entertainment. David's jokes are not very good but they make you laugh. Some of his illusions are very good. One in particular had to do with him using a cellphone. Show is suitable for all ages and audience participation allows patrons to be part of the show. Dinner was also very good; pulled pork. corn on the cob, potatoes. slaw and banana pudding. Two tickets cost $90 which included dinner.
My wife and I really enjoyed the show. David is a good entertainer.

We saw the latest production: Jesus the teacher. The cast was huge. 110 for each group and they have two separate casts. Wow. The choreography was great. And they did a good job of both illustrating a parable and letting Jesus say the parable. We have seen them all. This is our go-to place to bring out-of-town guests.

Fantastic Christmas Show! Hard to believe that most if not all the performers are volunteers. Couldn't believe that 'Baby Jesus' did not make a peep. There are no bad seats in this intimate theatre. Story writing and choreography is outstanding. How they are able to provide hot meals (reasonable cost) to some many patrons is amazing. We have lived in Charlotte for 36 years and only learned about Narroway about 7 years ago. Wish I could go back in time. Christian entertainment at its best!

'Jesus the Teacher.' Excellent Christian entertainment. You would never know that the performers are all volunteers. The songs and choreography are wonderful. The show depicts the teachings of Jesus in song and dance. I can't say enough about the performance. If you have not been to the Narroway, you need to give it a try. You will not be disappointed!

Another outstanding performance; 'Lord of the Light.' My wife and I have attended a number of performances at Narroway. The food is good and the Christian entertainment outstanding! It is hard to believe that the performers are amateurs.
If you enjoy Christian entertainment this is a venue you can't miss. Prices are reasonable and there are no bad seats. You can buy a ticket with or without a meal.
We can't wait for another performance that we have not seen.

My wife and I attended the performance of Geronimo. As the shows are Christian themed, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Without giving out the entire plot,Geronimo became a Christian later in life. Redemption is for all those who choose it. We bought the meal with our ticket. Meal was based on Native American cuisine. Water and sweet tea included. They have a gift shop and snack bar.Overall, if you are particularly a Christian or want to be, we would highly recommend this venue. Tickets vary in price and reasonable; $40? or less. Staff who are servers also are the performers.

Can you choose a dinner
lmccoy10
Fort Mill, SC
The dinner is a set plate that is themed with the show. We do offer vegetarian and gluten-sensitive options, but no other substitutions. We do have an option to not include dinner if you prefer as well.

Yes, they announce anniversaries, birthdays, etc. Just talk to someone before they start and they will be glad to announce. Also they always give a 'thank you' to all Veterans attending.

Do we need to arrive at the theater prior to 5:00 for the 5:00 show if our tickets include dinner? What is the best time to arrive?
lmccoy10
Fort Mill, SC
As long as you arrive by 5pm, you will be fine. The advertised time (in this case, 5pm) is when doors open and guests are seated. Once seated, we'll serve dinner and then begin the show when we have everyone served.

is there a place for disabled or elderly?
lmccoy10
Fort Mill, SC
Absolutely! You simply need to let us know at the time of your reservation. We have special seating allotted for wheelchairs. Likewise, those with difficultly climbing steps may request front row seats. These, like any other seats, are subject to be filled on any particular date, so it's always best to call early if you have special seating needs.

I would like to know about the seating. Where is the best place to sit? Is it comfy? Can you see the stage well?
Also, it is awkward eating in the theater seats?
lmccoy10
Fort Mill, SC
All of the seats in the theatre are good because the seating is tiered. So, you can see well from any seat in the house. Typically, when we reserve tickets, we start from the center section and work our way to the outside sections. Most guests tend to have a preference toward the center seats by default. However, we often have people tell us that "the top of 500 is my favorite area" or the "400 section is where I always sit." So, honestly, it's really a matter of personal preference. The seats are comfortable theater-style seats with soft cushions. We made the aisles extra-large so there is plenty of room. Most guests very much enjoy the dining experience as well. You are served by the cast with special trays that snap into the cup holder of your seat. Once you are finished, you tray is removed. So, you don't have to worry about moving around from one area to the next. Feel free to let us know if you have other questions. We certainly hope to see you at the NarroWay Theatre!
What is going on at the park today? Guided tours? I would be bringing 3 teens that have been there before.???
lmccoy10
Fort Mill, SC
I'm not sure what park you are speaking of, but at NarroWay today, we are having a performance of "Samson" at 6:30pm. We would love to have you join us for that!
