We could not have had a better end to our day than a Sunset Crusie with Capt. Jim and his 1st Mate/Wife Heart, who captained the boat while Jim began explaining our whereabouts. We were contacted by Capt. Jim about an hour before he was set to arrive at the Marina to make sure we were good to go. Jim is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Folly Beach and the River and we all learned so much enjoying every minute. We were a party of 4 on the boat, which was a Boston Whaler and had another enjoyable couple join us and the boat was just perfect as we had Dolphins on both sides of the boat, there had to be 6-8 of them. The entire criuse was such a great way to end our day. I highly recommend Tideline Tours for a Sunset Cruise when you stay at Folly Beach!

We absolutely loved our tour! We are a family of 2 boys, 11 & 15 from Illinois! Weatherly was our captain and she was personable, so friendly, so full of knowledge and you can see that she is passionate about her job! We saw so many dolphins and were able to walk the beach by the light house! It’s definitely worth the time at sunset-there’s something so sweet about sunset on the water surrounded by nature & dolphins! 10/10 recommended!

Captain Joe was one of a kind. So much information on salt marshes, oysters and dolphins. Stopped on the island and found shark teeth, Dolphins were swimming and showing off. The views were amazing. Defiantly a wnderful experience.

Had a fantastic lowcountry experience today on a Tideline Tours crabbing excursion w/ Captain Joe. Grandchildren, parents and grandparents all had a great trip down the Folly River to Morris Island. In the shadow of the lighthouse, we went crabbing and shelling. The highlight was seeing dolphins “strand feeding” on the shore. Highly recommend this company for easy online planning, knowledgeable and competent crew, and knowing where the fun could be found!

My granddaughter and I had the best time with our captain, Ophelia. She was knowledgeable about the ecosystem, the history, and we loved her sharing with us. We highly recommend a trip with Tidelands. It’s such a nice way to experience Folly Beach on the water.

Fun little trip and would recommend. We had cloudy skies and potential rain, but we made it out to the lighthouse and back. Our captain made sure we saw the dolphins along the way and had plenty of insights to educate us about them and the local ecosystem. Safety was priority #1 as they tracked a storm in the distance. Thankfully it kept its distance.

Loved this tour! We saw dolphins within three minutes of leaving the dock! Our guide was not only knowledgeable about the salt marshes and the dolphins, but obviously really loved his home and sharing it with us! He took us to all of his favorite spots and had fun facts about so many things we saw. Our only disappointment was not being able to go ashore on Morris Island, but he really made sure we understood the danger the wind and waves created for us and to the fragile dunes of the island. We loved our excursion regardless and will be doing this same tour again if we ever get to come back to Folly Beach!

Captain Peter was professional( safety) friendly, informative and gave us lots of info on the marsh, dolphins and wildlife in area. We also had fun shelling on Morris Island for a short time. We would love to go w him again.

We took the dinner cruise and it was amazing! The views were so pretty and our beach time exploration to see the Morris Lighthouse so fun. Plus a shrimp boil on the beach - it just doesn’t get any better!!! Our family of 11 LOVED this experience!! Captain Weatherly and Dustin were the perfect guides!

We have a group of 4 adults. How many additional guests would
be on our tour?

Thanks for the question.
If you book the Salt Marsh Adventure by the seat, then you can have potentially 8 more people on the same trip. If you book the Dolphin Adventure, then you can have potentially 20 more on the same trip
If you wish to keep the trip private, for $325, you can book the 12 passenger boat or for $500, the 24 passenger boat.
Cheers
Capt. Anton
