We arrived on a Saturday at 10. FYI, they don't open until 10:30. It is huge with many booths stuffed with little things mostly, although there were some big things. The place is dusty and dirty. It is dark and dark to see. It must have a kind of cultish following. It was packed with people, even though I thought it was expensive. I would not go back. There were parrots talking from the back room and parrot cages sitting around- kind of unusual.

This is a huge flea market with all sorts of junk. If you like browsing junk, you'll love it here, especially if you're not one who cares too much about a bit of a mess and maybe the ceiling leaking here or there. Some of the stuff they have here is pretty cool, and there's a large variety of it, but I'm not sure if you'd ever find something actually useful here. Lots of fun brick-a-brack to poke around in.

Occasionally, you can get lucky in a place like Thieves Market -- a leaky old warehouse with overpriced, mildewed junk. I love to wander through when I can, because every so often, some fabulous item needs to go home with me, and it never hurts to ask if they can offer a better price. Most of the booths, though, are filled with items of emotional attachment to the booth renter, as they are bizarrely inflated in price and often in dreadful condition. It's weird.

They've moved up from a 2 star to a 3 star review, because they finally moved the caged birds out of the main room. So disgusting.

Passing through Florence on our way to Florida we stayed overnight and I saw the Thieves Market while sightseeing. The largest and most inclusive pile of antiques, architectural salvage and just old interesting stuff I've run into. You wouldn't see it all if you stayed all day. Didn't seem cheap though I didn't buy or try to bargain. Everything from window frames to kitchen stuff to a parking meter and a hanging traffic light. If scavenging his sort of stuff appeals to you -- don't miss it.

This is a huge wearhouse style antique/collectible marketplace. It is composed of numerous individual unique booths by various vendors. Take your time and wander the aisles and find collectibles and great bargains. It took us an hour and a half to go through it, but we could have spent much more time.

We tend to stop by Thieve's Market whenever we're in Florence. It's not the fanciest place, the there are lots of interesting and eclectic items and some bargains. We always come away with a few books for a dollar. There aren't too many places where you can find a urinal converted to a planter.....we didn't buy that one.

Thieve's Mkt is definitely worth a visit.

We visited Thieves Market while traveling through Florence. It's an eclectic collection of antiques and other items. We found some nice books for $1 each. To make it better, it was a booth sponsored by the Humane Society so the money went to a good cause.

We'll go back.

This place has no AC, but a lot of fans! It was fairly large with a good variety of things. It had a lot of old stuff that could be used to restore an old home. Don’t let the sinks outside fool you, there’s a lot of other things inside.

If you like a-pickin' and a-junkin' and you are in the area, it's worth the stop. Prices were not astronomical, average in my opinion--but it varied from stall to stall. Plenty of treasure to look at. You could spend an hour on a quick walk-through, or a few more if you really wanted to explore, as the market is a decent size.
