Edisto Beach State Park is a wonderful area. There is only a short walk from the parking area to the beach. The camping is usually reserved a year in advance since it is a great place to camp. Bathrooms are clean and well lit. A play area is available in the wooded section near the camping. During late July/Early August... More

My husband and I ride our motorcycles and had a one night camping trip here at Edisto. It was a very relaxing time. The beach was beautiful and the wooded area for campers was very beautiful!

My wife and I drive here for the day. We had a picnic and walked the beach with our dog. It was a great day. The park was very clean and the park staff were kind and helpful. Nice place to spend the day and camp.

One evening we got to watch a baby sea turtle make his way from the nest. Bath house has fans , a plus. The beach section has outdoor showers and bathrooms. There are... More

We visited this park for swimming and the beach is nice except part of it is deeply sloped and causes the waves at high tide to be really rough. There is an outside shower so you can wash the sand off, coming from the beach it is to the right on the beach side of the educational building . There... More

Don't walk, run to this state park. Firstly, the park is divided into at least three sites: beach - where there is also camping, campground, boat launch, and museum. It's pricy at $5 per person, but if you include a ranger talk ( seashell talk meets at beach and ranger is a good educator) , a visit to the kid... More

Nice park. Very friendly. Worth the drive. Lots of ocean access and nice camping sites. Be careful of the sea turtle nests.
