Outstanding river tour of the local Conway, SC (near Myrtle Beach) Waccamaw River area. Comfortable electric boat (no background noise), good tour guide, several tours/day and very reasonably priced for a 2 hour tour. A great activity for a visit to the Myrtle Beach SC area.

The time flew by on this relaxing tour on the Waccamaw River. Capt. Jim kept my attention with his stories and history of the river and the town of Conway, there is not much more I can add after reading the other reviews. Enjoy your ride listening about the past and a little of the football rivalry between Clemson Univ.... More

Very nice tour. Capt Jim gives a great lesson on local history and historic places. Boat ride is very quiet and during the part where the tour goes into the cypress swamp is very peaceful. You would never know that you were only minutes away from the downtown. Highly recommend!

After six years of intentions, my wife and I finally drove to Conway's marina to take a ride down the Waccamaw River with Cap'n Jim. My wife has always worried about "what's in the water" but agreed to find out first hand. A visit to Conway, has always been a must during our month long stays in Myrtle Beach. We... More

We took this trip and were amazed at the beauty, tranquillity of the swamp area. Cpt Jim was very pleasant. His stories of his childhood antics in along the river were ones to turn a mother's hair grey. It was an amazing day trip, recommended for all ages. Older children would love it.

It's an easy walk less than a mile long along the Waccamaw River. You will see a couple of historic buildings (the Rainbow Plant Food Plant and the Burroughs Company Warehouse). It also offers a picnic area, a playground, and gardens. There are beautiful old oak trees with spanish moss hanging on them shading the walk. Just take your time... More
