Discovered the traditional organ music and choir service on a visit to Columbia. Now listen online on Sunday mornings for the solid teaching from Derek Thomas, head rector. Also a beautiful historic building.

Wonderful services—a little foretaste of heaven on earth! The senior pastor is outstanding in his delivery of God’s Word. The congregation is very welcoming and are kingdom driven. You can feel the Lord’s presence in a mighty way. Our home is several hours away from this location, so we listen virtually to most every service on the Lord’s day—via Live Stream.

We walked past First Presbyterian Church. The cemetery and structure are striking! I loved the stained glass and wooden doors. The color is somewhat odd, but different.

It’s an old structure with an old cemetery right on site. Local “famous “ people buried within. Lots of history, gates are open and your free to roam around the burial grounds.

My college roommate had her wedding here and it was beautiful! We're from out of town, but I was so impressed with the gorgeous, clean spaces provided for getting ready. The sanctuary was very pretty with a large organ. It and the reception hall were right across from each other, just a short walk through the cemetery, which was convenient for guests. The hors d'oeuvres they served were delicious (I'm not sure if it was actually the church staff serving these, or a catering company.) Seemed to be a fabulous Southern wedding venue!
