We visited six restaurants and had a great large sampling at each. Five gave us an adult beverage to go with our meals. It was so fun with my group of friends and if someone didn't like something, we traded with each other.

This was the best food tour ever! The 6 restaurants offered the tastiest dishes and meeting the respective chefs made the experience even more memorable. Brian, the host, provided so much info regarding historical buildings/happenings in addition to a foodies appetite for the best times, and happenings on Main st, Columbia. This area has really grown and improved and the food tour show-cased all that! Would highly recommend to locals and out of towners alike!! Thank you Brian for a stellar experience!…

Our daughter gave us to 2 gift certificates for the food tour since I love to eat. Being from Columbia, I have tried most of the restaurants in the Main Street area so wasn't sure what to expect. What a nice surprise to visit some of the new restaurants as well as some of the older ones. There was SO much food & drink! We started with coffee & ended with bourbon if that tells you anything. With a little history thrown in during the walk down Main street as well as seeing the new Speakeasy at Smoked (members only), we felt like special guests. Many of the chefs & bartenders came out to speak to us too. The only thing I would complain about is that we had too much time at the Oliver Gospel Roastery. I loved it but it only took a few minutes to drink our sample & eat a muffin/cake. Then when we had full size drinks & more food, we felt rushed so we guzzled & chow downed very quickly at the other places. Besides that, it was fun tasting so much delicious food from scallops to salmon to French to New Orleans inspired menus. Then lots of drinks & I mean full size drinks so be prepared! We met some interesting folks from out of town & I was proud that they all enjoyed what little ol' Columbia, SC has to offer in the finest cuisine & history. We definitely would do this again!…
