I went to see a documentary screening hosted by NOW. The facility is cozy and very clean (no sticky floors here). I also liked the eclectic, vintage decor. There is street parking available if you can get it but there is a parking garage which is a very short walk from the theater and it's free during nights and weekends. The theater hosts a variety of movies from independent films to current, big-budget productions you can see anywhere. I would also like to add the staff was very friendly.

My wife and I go to Nickelodeon on our date night often. Very intimate atmosphere, small venue, excellent independent films! The staff are friendly and accommodating! On Main Street close to several nice restaurants. Makes for a great date..... I highly recommend it!

Small local feel, great movies and events, wonderful staff. In addition to the traditional movie fare they also serve wine and beer! Thoughtful selection of movies. Also, it is located in the heart of downtown on Main Street with local restaurants and wine bars nearby so there is always an excuse to grab dinner before or after the movie. I just love this place and have been a supporting member since before they moved to Main Street.

This is by far my favorite theater in Columbia, from the great location on the revitalized Main Street close to great restaurants and bars to the friendly staff and good refreshment stand (that includes adult beverages) this is my preferred movie location. The theater specializes in art and indie films which you likely won't find at a bigger theater. The bathrooms are always spotless, the seats are comfie and the theater is clean. We love the pre-movie time when a member of the staff comes in to welcome you and to make announcements and then starts the movie rolling with a tap to their iPad as they walk out. We also appreciate the outreach and education programs that the Nick provides to our community, as well as their commitment to Main Street. We love going downtown for movie night. Not only do you get to see great films at the Nick, but you can also feel good knowing you are supporting the local arts in our community. It's a win/win!

Funky, edgy and/or provocative films. Intimate theatres and adequate snack bar. Free safe parking nearby. The staff is top-notch - they all truly love the Arts.

Enjoy the whole experience of watching movies at The Nick... the movies tend to be the more thoughtful new releases, the theater is seldom crowded, the staff and volunteers are always friendly and helpful, and the snacks, including adult beverages, are reasonably priced. Highly recommend it!

I have made it a weekly treat to visit on the 1 pm Matinee all summer and love upstairs. I cannot say enough nice things about all of the volunteers, Easy parking and fast concessions. ADA accessible elevator and seating upstairs. If you prefer the drinking crowd try the night movies and have a ball with your friends. I just saw Genius and honestly it was in my top movies ever since I love visiting Thomas Wolfs "Look Homeward Angel" in the cemetery out of Hendersonville. Firth and Law were incredible together too! Thank you to all of the donors!

We happened along to this theater and what a pleasant surprise. It is updated, clean and has a great staff. PLUS they serve beer! What else could you want?

Our family joined as members and we have been able to see several films that are not shown at the mainstream cinemas. The experience is more adult and generally a better atmosphere. We enjoy the comfortable seating, the size of the theater and the offering of wine/beer and other snacks.
