Recently, I was living in Downtown Columbia, within walking distance of the park. I enjoyed daily walks along the this path. It is well lit and marked. We could walk just a few miles or all of the way down to the dam at the North end. Beautiful spot!

Nice area to visit with paved free parking; I found the riverfront walk to be serene and peaceful with paths for walking, biking and has a small workout section at the bottom of the riverfront which I observed kids and adults using. We took the stairs to the top section and found more walking paths with lots of seating and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the park and it's magnificent views of the canal. The original machinery is still there from the Hydro Electric Plant which is very interesting. Beautiful place for photos!

Turtles, great blue herons, and an otter just to name a few. My dad and I go walking here a lot usually in the morning and it is quite pleasant. Walking here is... More

My husband has been taking the white water kayak 101 class, and they start in the canal at the riverfront. My daughter and I have gone to watch, and explore while he kayaks. The restrooms are clean, the paths are nice, and there is lots of shade if you want it. Great for a stroll, a joh, or a picnic.... More

My wife and I have been coming to Riverfront Park for the past 10 years. We generally come on Sundays. The path is well marked and generally in good condition. there are restrooms near the start and at the end of the 2-1/2 mile path. Some areas still need a few more trees for shade as it gets pretty hot... More
