We went to see the Treme exhibit, which is a temporary exhibit. That was worth seeing. My husband was a fan of the show. i had never seen it but still enjoyed seeing the incredible Mardi Gras costumes and learning about their creation.

The McKissick Museum is a beautiful building at the head of USC's Horseshoe. It is a wonderful visitor center and also doubles as a museum. The collections, while limited, are well done and informative.
