Wish we had something like this closer to home. This place gives the kind of unique experience that children remember all their lives. Definite must see.

Took the hubby here for a cheap afternoon date, and to do something out of the normal. The facilities are great, although the pews are hard and uncomfortable. While the puppets can be a little creepy to walk into a room full of, the actual play was very well performed and thought through. It was a unique experience that was... More

Our grandsons, ages 4 & 6 enjoyed the show. It was about 45 minutes in length and that was about right for the audience. The performance was well done. Price was right, $5 per person. Operated by a non-profit. Facilities could use an upgrade, but that is understandable. Overall, still a great experience.

The Columbia Marionette Theatre is a hidden treasure right in Columbia. The theatre offers great marionette shows for young (under 10) kids. The theatre is small so all the seats offer a great view. The shows last from 45-60 minutes, and the performers are great. Shows rotate every few months, so check to see what is playing.

The theater itself is little, but the performances are big. They are professionally presented and fun to watch. Take your kids to see this place!

My son loves puppet shows. We visit often and most importantly it is affordable. He enjoys it so much we plan to do a birthday party, because they have great rates. This is a great place to visit especially if you have younger children.

Birthday parties there appear to be great. But the public are on hard church type pews. My nephews were too short to see over adults in front of them. Kids wanted party favors like the birthday groups but nothing similar available

This is a nice different type of place to spend an hour with a young child. Tickets are very reasonable, workers are extremely nice and the shows are usually quite good and keep young kids interested. They seem to change the show every few months, and everyone I have been too has been worthwhile for the kids with me.

We saw a delightful version of Beauty and The Beast. It was great fun and the theater is set up for little folks that need to move around. The puppeteers were wonderful and the tour backstage was really fun. At the end the kids get to play with real marionettes. It was very nice and not too expensive. My kids... More
