I work in higher education and love visiting other campuses, particularly historic ones. The Horseshoe was lovely and I really enjoyed wandering around admiring the greenery, enormous old trees, and history. Really nice perk to visiting campus for a workshop.

Beautiful setting, diverse degree paths, excellent standards. The University of South Carolina offers cutting edge opportunities in a small town atmosphere. Excellent student/faculty interactions through many out of classroom experiences.

I have never been to campus nor do I have a student there. Just passing through area and me and my 12 year old decided to walk through campus. From the "outside looking in" it appears to have a lot to offer. Also has an awesome book store.

On foot you can walk most of the student areas. Be sure to check out the Horsheshoe and some of the nearby academic buildings. Some old and architectural, others brand new and modern. Also get in your car and drive to the outdoor athletic complex.

Fantastic learning opportunity led by enthusiastic students so we could prepare for freshman year. Campus is beautifully maintained with brick walkways and blooming trees. Professors are proud of their University and programs. Cafeteria and bookstore staff are eager to assist.

USC Columbia has the best of the historic old charm with the latest of technology and architecture. Nestled in downtown Columbia, it has great programs for many academic requirements and a excellent athletic program.
