Great place to hike

This is a great place to get in some hiking with beautiful scenery. The drive up is gorgeous and relaxing. It's a fabulous way to spend a beautiful day.

Beautiful area and worth the drive. Outstanding gift shop, much larger than most state park gift shops. Many unique items and reasonably priced. Restrooms are located next to shop and viewing area. Viewing area is a little tricky for children and older folks, but manageable. Great photo opportunity and if you want a little extra experience, walk down metal stairs... More

We went there to hike one of the trails that takes you past a few waterfalls. The trail was very nice and moderate. We did a bit over 3 miles with a series of up an downs. about a 400 foot change overall. Trails were not difficult but there are more challenging trails. Enjoy this wonderful piece South Carolina. great... More

We visited during the fires and still had beautiful views. Watched the water being taken to different fires. Had a little concern for my 79 yo mother but she did just fine with stairs and uneven places of viewing. We tried to get to a bridge with a hike but never found and it was getting late in the day.... We stopped at Caesars head state park to look at the fires on table rock. This park has a great overlook and we had a good view of the fire. Hope we get some rain soon!

I visited this park years ago and now live on the edge of it. This park is one of those places that should be on everyone's bucket list. Great trails, fantastic views are all a part of it. The lookout at the ranger station on top of Caesars Head on hwy 276 (Geer hwy) is worth the trip from most... More

This was easy to get to and not far to walk. The trails to the waterfalls were confusing, though. The trails were easy enough. Going from here to Jone's Gap one will find a wonderful little hole-in-the-wall to eat. F-mart at the turn to Jone's Gap has surprisingly yummy food and is much cleaner than one would expect from outside.... More

I hiked the Ravencliff Falls Trail to the overlook and back. The 4.4 miles took me about an hour and a half with a stop at the overlook and a few stops for photos of the leaves. I also went to the overlook at the visitors center which offered an unbelievable view. The drive up the mountain is a lot... More

We stopped here on our way to DuPont State Forest and it sure was worth it!!! The view platform is very close to parking area. Great view of Table Rock. A short walk down and you can see the monkey face rock formation. Nice place to stop.

Beautiful views and well kept area. Staff in ranger office and store are very friendly. Need a bigger restroom area for peak times of the year though.
