Uncle and I hiked more than ten miles on several trails. Hiking the Raven Cliff, Naturaland Trust and Gum Gap/Foothills trails. The views are magnificent and the suspension bridge over Raven Cliff is worth your time. Be sure to take water and food because it will take some time to enjoy the scenery.

Caesar's Head State Park is awesome. It's nice whether you just visit the park store and headquarters at the top of the mountain. It's nice whether you step out on the viewing platform and gaze across the valley at Table Rock Mountain. It's nice if you have a picnic. And it's a great place to hike. 400+ foot high Raven... My wife and I were out exploring. Had stopped at a pull off earlier and a man selling local honey recommended the stop. It was worth it. The views of the mountains went on forever. The day was a bit hazy for pictures, but still go a couple of great shots.

We took a day trip to visit Western SC mountains and boy what a surprise. I have lived here my whole life and had mainly visited the NC and TN mountains. I have surely missed out. This is an easy place to stop and take in some breathtaking views atop Ceasars Head overlook. Make sure you stop and check this... More

We recently stopped here on a tour of South Carolina State Parks. Caesars Head is a rock formation along the Blue Ridge escarpment with an elevation above 3,000 feet. There is a nice overlook where you can see for miles into the Piedmont region of the Upstate below. You can see Table Rock reservoir from here I've been to the... More

If you don't like hiking but want to enjoy amazing views, this is your place! As you drive on 276 and crest the mountain, this park is near the top. There are some picnic tables near the parking lot. There is a wonderful, fenced overlook maybe 50 yards from the parking lot and access to it is easy. There are... More

Beautiful area and worth the drive. Outstanding gift shop, much larger than most state park gift shops. Many unique items and reasonably priced. Restrooms are located next to shop and viewing area. Viewing area is a little tricky for children and older folks, but manageable. Great photo opportunity and if you want a little extra experience, walk down metal stairs... More

We went there to hike one of the trails that takes you past a few waterfalls. The trail was very nice and moderate. We did a bit over 3 miles with a series of up an downs. about a 400 foot change overall. Trails were not difficult but there are more challenging trails. Enjoy this wonderful piece South Carolina. great... More

We visited during the fires and still had beautiful views. Watched the water being taken to different fires. Had a little concern for my 79 yo mother but she did just fine with stairs and uneven places of viewing. We tried to get to a bridge with a hike but never found and it was getting late in the day....
