The outlook trail is easy and gives spectacular views. However if you want to hike to see the falls, beware. There is very little parking. After driving two plus hours and paying the fee, there was no parking available at any of the other trail heads. We headed to NC which don't charge fees and have plenty of parking at... More

We enjoyed the park, we only took advantage of seeing Ceasars Head which does not require any hiking. You park, and can walk a few hundred feet to see Caesars Head and an great overlook view of the area. You can even see Table Rock from there. The roads to get there are curvy and steep, but I enjoy that... More

Fantastic view of the mountain. Very well maintained roads. Minimum fee to enter park, but if just riding in to get a view the attendant will likely waive fee

A truly gorgeous view that can only be seen from stop this mountain. A safe observation area for kids and adults to view the expansive valley below and mountains in the distance. A nice quick trail meanders along the side of the mountain for visitors to explore. A gift shop close by has plenty of trinkets to buy.

This is a state park not far from Greenville SC or Asheville, NC, a short hike will take you to a beautiful view of the NC & SC Mountains.

When I got there, I asked the ranger if we could walk down to the water. He kept giving me a strange look and advised me to go the lookout. It was then that I realize, there was no water. It was an illusion. The Mountains are so beautiful. I was in awe!

It was a total white-out the day we visited but, luckily, we had been to this state park before and enjoyed the view. No fee to take a short walk on a boardwalk from the parking lot for the usually-great view. Visitors Center at entrance has gift items and a 3D map of the area.

The visitor's center is a great place on week days for bird watching and just viewing the scenery. Ravens can be seen occasionally at the overlook and several species of warblers can be spotted around the parking lot area and trail to the visitor center overlook. The Raven Cliff Falls trail is a great trail for bird watching or just... More
