When I was a young boy me and my school mates would play in the woods here. I remember the springs there were ice cold in the summer heat. The soil was rich with nutrients that support the wild life and heavy forest foliage.
Located in a picturesque setting, like most wineries, this was a disappointing visit for us. We traveled an hour to check them out, and found the wines weak, lacking body and depth. Didn't find one worth buying. People are pleasant. No nibbles accompanied tasting either....More
One of the friendliest and intimate vineyard ever! Coming from Virginia and the Charlottesville wineries this is a great and welcome find! Outside seating (needs cushions for chairs), great breads and cheeses. Fun gift shop and a really nice drive! Good job!!!!
