We walked here while we were in the area. Nice board walk around the lake. We saw several turtles and fish in the water. Not a long walk but pleasant

Went for a picnic date and a walk around the water, was relaxing. I really loved the porch type swings located in strategic places that were nice to sit in and watch a sunset with the boyfriend.

Very nice walk next to the beuatiful lake, very quiet, not very busy. We were enjoying the nature, saw a few turtles, fishes and birds. There are a lot of places to picnic or to relax and also e small playground for the children. Takes about 1-2 hours with lots of stopps to watch and enjoy.

Although the water levels are extremely low, the wooden walkways get you close to nature, swings for comfort and relaxation, and plenty of shade.

A nice long boardwalk around a Hartwell inlet with plenty of shade, a few places to fish, a canoe/kayak landing, and access to several restaurants.
Unfortunately the Army Corps manages this lake and it seems that for half the time this park has been built it should be called the Larry W. Abernathy Siltfront Park.
It's a 4-star place when the lake is full, but 2-star when it's not, so you better check the lake level before you plan to come and put in a boat or go fishing or you might be sorely disappointed.

I walk here often to enjoy the solitude and peace away from College Avenue. There are birds to watch and occasionally a family enjoying the boardwalk too.

Pack a lunch and take a stroll. Just a block or so from downtown Clemson. Shaded, meandering trail that has you walking alongside and over lake hartwell.

Not worth making a special trip for. Just ok, nothing special. It is on the water, and most of the walk is in the shade, but that is about it.

I enjoy going there with a sack lunch, for a stroll, or to merely sit and swing. The boardwalk makes for easy walking.
Not much parking. Don't expect green space as in most parks, as the boardwalk is the main feature.

Take time to explore this lovely waterfront park - stroll the boardwalks or just sit on a bench to read your favorite book or enjoy the water. There are also a few picnic tables if you have packed a lunch or have a few minutes to enjoy your local 'take out'. Very nice Clemson park - easy walking - nice views.
