The South Carolina Botanical Garden is a diverse 295 acres of natural landscapes, display gardens, and miles of streams and nature trails. The SCBG is an official American Hosta Society Display Garden. It has a butterfly garden, a wildflower meadow, many specialty gardens, and a 70-acre arboretum. The Gift Shop and Visitor's Center are open from 10:00 - 5:00 seven days a week (excluding University holidays).

My family loves to go to the SC Botanical Gardens in Clemson. Such a quiet and peaceful place for walking and viewing hundreds of specimens of plants and flowers. Each time we go, we find something new and interesting.

Spend an hour or a whole day in these beautiful gardens. Lovely, landscaped trails and well-labeled plant specimens make the experience enjoyable and educational. Bring a picnic!

Beautiful place for a walk. Relax and enjoy nature. They always have something blooming. Interesting to see all the different species of plants. They have a couple of swings. There is a duck pond if u go further down the trail and an old style...More

love the paths, old stone work and bridges, pond...everything about this place is beautiful. nice to stroll through the woods or just sit on the swing enjoying time together.

This is one of the best places to go, spring, summer, fall or winter. It is always free. The Heritage Trail is well done and very interesting. This trail takes the visitor through each habitat that South Carolina maintains. Go from mountains to seashore. Lovely...More

we rented the space for a private dinner and it was great. cost was reasonable, staff was very helpful and gardens were perfect. all in all we were very pleased
