We were a family group of nine people. The youngest was 12 yrs old and he helped with important information for the solution. We all played a part in finding and solving the clues. Lots of fun. We did break out with time to spare!

We broke out with a minute to spare so a 5 rating is a reward to us all and the excellent experience presented by a friendly staff. Intriguing challenges and clues created a fun time, soon to be repeated at one of their other themes. It certainly was a team effort as one idea created another for success. Equally important, this is a well run experience and well worth the time and money.

This was our last night of our "family vacation" and we decided to do an "escape room". We had so much fun with this one (8 of us) yelling and shouting instructions was hilarious. We did the jail break out room, and we will be returning to try the other two. It was my sister's first time doing one and she said "I never realized how much fun those could be" - otherwise known as "It was Great". Would highly recommend this escape room. Easy to get to and very entertaining.

I recently did my first escape room, not in Charleston, and even though I thought the theme might be boring, I had a blast. So I came home and immediately invited all my friends to do one in Charleston, which was serial killer themed (SO fun for me)! It was definitely a ton of fun, although quite difficult actually! We actually got out like a minute past the timer, but they were still nice enough to give it to us (or not let Chainsaw Chuck murder us, I guess). My main critique is that this one is SO code-heavy. Throughout the 3 rooms, you have to figure out and solve SO many different 4-5 digit codes. I actually preferred my 1776-themed one, which I didn't anticipate loving, just because there was such a variety of different puzzles and things we had to put together in order to escape. Don't get me wrong, this one was still a ton of fun, and the staff was absolutely great. Furthermore, I've heard that one of the other rooms here was amazing from one of the friends who came with me to the serial killer one. Just saying that a wider variety of clues and puzzles would make this even better. Thanks for a great evening!

We picked the Wild West themed escape room solely on time it was offered. First-time escape room people, we were unsure how to play, but found it quite fun and entertaining! Five of us on our group and that was a good number. Any more people and it could become claustrophobic.
Would definitely return and try a different theme to see if we could win again!

A group of about 10 of us from the ages of 13-40 somethings went to Break Out. We did the Wild Heist Game. It was awesome! It was tough, but FUN! I highly recommend to anyone and it's great for all ages! The staff was friendly, welcoming and explained the game very well (and will help during the game if needed). Overall a 10/10 experience!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They did a great job adding to our experience. We attempted the “serial killer” room and although sadly we did not escape it was all well worth it and time and money well spent. 10/10. We will definitely be back to conquer that room and both the others. Overall great experience.

This is the second time, i have brought my teenager's friend group to this location. They all had a good time, laughing and trying to work together to solve the puzzles. The puzzles require some intense cognitive thinking (something teenagers have a hard time with) but they managed to make into the last room (with 5 or 6 clues).
The staff is wonderful, very helpful and want you to succeed in the escape.
I am considering bringing my work team here as a holiday team building event.

Our family had a blast at Break Out, we did the Wild West Room and its was so fun. We actually were finally able to escape and make it out....with just seconds left on the clock. It was great for kids of age 9 to 14....the staff was very nice and helpful too. I would recommend checking them out for sure.

We had a group of four and really enjoyed the fun, challenging, yet entertaining activity. It was my first escape room experience and I really had a great time. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a group activity.

You say fun for ALL ages. We have boys 8 and 10. Appropriate?

Yes but choose the prison break one or wait for their new western bank heist as the more family friendly options. The serial killer is their hainted house type breakout.

Around 12 by 12 - just make sure to schedule a time when the room is not full.

Would our 5, 8 & 9 yr old be able to contribute much to the escape or would it be too over their heads? Thanks for any advice.

I would think the 8 and 9 year old could contribute to the puzzles, but the 5 year old may have difficulty contributing...however the 5 year old could look for clues under items in the room or enter in the lock combinations. All the rooms we've done have multiple locks and maybe that could be a task for the younger kids to do while someone older reads out what they think the combination should be.
