A “must-do” gem of a travel & drinking tour! Our travel guide, Alex, regaled us with local history & hilarious anecdotes while traveling to three stops. Beer, champagne, and water were provided while traveling.
The first stop was Lewis BBQ with a brief talk and glimpse into the smoking process of meat. Lunch was provided which included a mouthwatering brisket, pork ribs, sausage, Mac and cheese, and southern cornbread.
Next up, complete with an opportunity to throw axes, was Chuck-town Ax-Throwing and Rusty Bull Brewery. If you don’t know how to throw axes, the expert was there to teach and guide you through the process.
The final stop at Firefly Distillery offered uniquely crafted tastes of bourbon, whiskey, and specialty moonshine. Nobody walked away sans a favorite! Everybody was gifted a shot glass. The ride back was entertaining and informative. Alex was definitely the hospitality guide to have on that tour. He was there to help snap photos, hold items, serve you drinks, and ensure that you didn’t leave anything at the sites. A fun afternoon was had by all!
