Visited Charleston to see the Doobie Brothers at the Family Circle Center. This facility is normally used for tennis events but we have not been to an outside venue better suited for a musical performance. The seating is amazingly well thought out, the restrooms, food, etc were clear and easily accessible. The staff were absolutely caring as to visitors needs and requests. We were not "directed" once. On every occasion we were escorted to where we needed to be or asked where. Excellent access to great roads and parking, restaurants within easy walking distance.

I took a couple of clinics here while visiting Charleston. The pro, Dewey, was friendly and knowledgeable. The clinics were run very well, and were reasonably priced. The courts the clinics took place on had Har Tru surfaces.

One piece of advice: if you plan on playing here in the evening I would suggest a liberal application of bug repellant. I did not realize it at the time, but I was being eaten alive by the "no see-ums." I was swatting them away from my face, but did not know that they were feasting on my legs. I now have 50-100 (at least) very itchy bites on my legs. It's not the club's fault, of course, but I thought this review was a good way to warn others.

His first concert here at the Family Circle Tennis Center. It was a great place for a concert. We had bleacher seats, but they were great seats. You could see everything. Love this venue!

We came here for the Volvo Car Open. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and patient. The grounds are nice and the stadium was fine. The atmosphere was positive and fun. The Island and surrounding city area was VERY nice and well kept. Overall, a great visit!!

Just got home from the Volvo Tennis tournament. The WTA's premier clay court event of the year. The tennis was great. the grounds are so beautiful and inviting. We really enjoyed our week here. Everyone we came into contact was so friendly from the shuttle drivers, to security, staff, volunteers, food vendors and fans. We are from the west coast and when people found out they were so helpful. And I must say so proud of the place they live. Charleston really is the most friendly place I have ever been.

I have been making my journey to Daniel Island's Family Circle Tennis Center since 2001 and can't say enough how nice the facility and grounds are. It's a week of great Professional Tennis and it continues to be my favorite time of the year!

Enjoyed seeing the dynamic Serena Williams! The souvenir shop had over-priced items, but tickets were reasonable. It was the most exciting sports event that I had ever attended. Lifetime experience!💗🌞

recently came from RI to see Hootie and the Blowfish here. Probably one of the best venues i have ever visited. not a single seat in that place is bad. had a fantastic time as well. sound was very clear and it was a great show. beer/ bar was very accessible and the bathroom lines were not bad at all. would attend a concert here again in a second

This is a great venue for a concert, and I've seen many shows here. However, Charleston boasts its craftbeer breweries and yet we don't have one local beer on tap at these events? Giant cans of Bud is the best we can do? I think one craft brew stand would be enough - just one!

As the other reviewer said, there are no bad seats at this venue. It is great for concerts, they get a good line up of people, ticket prices are very reasonable, and it is on beautiful Daniel Island. We were in town to see Boston and it was an incredible show. We were in the 2nd level of seats but every seat here is a good one. Even if you're up on the third level you would have a clear view of the stage and the sound is amazing. I'm not sure if Boston brought their own sound man or if he worked for the production company but this show had some of the best sound I've ever heard at an outdoor concert. They have fairly decent prices for beer, &6-7 for 16 oz and $10 for 24oz drafts. My only complaint is I wish they served some local craft beers. Charleston has become quite the craft beer town and the only beer they had other than Bud Light, Coors, Miller, and Mich Ultra were Shock Top and one vendor selling Goose Island. If you can catch a weekend show here it is a great place to come spend a long weekend and visit a few of the awesome breweries here in town before the concert. We parked in regular parking $5 which is a little way from the venue but they run a free shuttle. My only complaint is the parking lot is gravel and grass which is not so good if you are on a motorcycle. Overall this is an outstanding venue and I can't wait to come back for another concert. I'm not a tennis fan, but if I was, I'm sure this is also a great place for a tennis match.
