This was part of a 3 day 1500 mile road trip over Christmas. Christmas morning around 6 am I was looking for something to do in town, not expecting much in terms of services open. The tour showed available on Christmas day for 10 am, I was stunned and skeptical, so I paid and booked, thinking I’d get a, yo buddy it’s Christmas are you whacked out thinking we do tours today…….about 730 I get a text stating Amy would be my tour guid and to meet at 945 at 80 broad st. There were multiple tours leaving at that time. I was shocked and impressed, I met Amy and she was the epitome of southern hospitality, apologized for the weather, it was 25 that day, being from the northeast I appreciated the warmer temps. (Lol) Guided me to the closest bathroom before the tour, I had drank a lot of energy drinks driving. Then the best part began, the tour, it was a wonderful mix of historical facts (verified later, been on a few tours where it wasn’t accurate), beautiful scenery and tons of photo ops available, and lastly and in my opinion the most important part, Amy had an amazing and witty sense of humor. Would recommend this to anyone looking to make Charleston an amazing memory!
