This is a very small museum but is worth a stop if you are in the area (The Visitor's Center is nearby). It is free, and I enjoyed learning some about the history of the train and it's impact on Charleston.

We went because my son loves trains. It was even smaller than expected and my kids were more interested in the rocks under the train. Since it was free I can't complain
