rode our bikes here, and rode them around the park as well. had a nice rest on the lawns and relaxed whiled people watching. watch out for geese and duck turds! You can have a great picnic here, read or nap!

The paths are real interesting here. The three parallel paths are near each other. Makes for great biking, strolling, and hiking for all ages. Plenty of people using the park. Most were young. All the park and its plants in particular needed plenty of water.

4/27/18 The park is open 24 hours, parking is the concern. Why do meter maids issue tickets if it's opens 24 hours?

We never new large park (largest on the peninsula) existed in Charleston. Next to the Citadel Hampton Park has 60 acres of peaceful, trees, sunshine, fountains, birds, and trails for walking, running or rollerblading. A great way to spend 2-4 relaxing hours.
