Took my kids and they had a great time, lots of cool attractions and we lucky enough o see the Rainbow Row location. Tour guide was great, lots of jokes and had a lot of cool side stories from the city. Definitely recommend.

Our driver, Gary, did an wonderful job of explaining not only the historic sites but adding his humor to his commentary. The tour ended way too soon. Highly recommend this company.

Garret showed us a good part of the history of the town and I am glad he was very knowledgeable of the area we covered during the tour. We spoke about civil war, religious backgrounds, architecture types and regulations, as well as modern history. I...More

In reality all these carriage tours are the same and they all charge the same, except the few that are single carriages with no dedicated ticket booth. Pick one stable that fits your schedule. Whichever one you take the tours do a nice job of showing...More

You can book online as little as 1 hour before the tour, however, it is not required. On busy days, we can have an hour wait and if you have reservations you can avoid that as well as choose the exact time your tour... More

Best picnic lunch for Waterfront park (1 Replies)
My family and I are coming in late July and will be doing a morning horse carriage ride. I want to grab some food to go to have a picnic at Waterfront park with the kids. We will probably walk from the Charleston Carriage Works (think near City Market) to the park. Are there any good deli's, hamburger or other quick to go choices? Although we will be taking it to go I still want good fresh food, so no chains please. This will be our first trip to Charleston. Thanks!

The Griffon on Vendue Range is across the street from the fountain and nice grassy areas. They have (to go or eat in) pub grub sandwiches, burgers or salads. They make a blackened chicken salad that is delicious!
