Blake led our group of 5 on a fantastic tour of the historic area! He was engaging and amusing, has direct insights into the city's history, and offered great tips on how to enjoy the city during our stay. He includes both highlights and lowlights of the city's past, which is so important to acknowledge the entire story. We can't wait to return to Charleston, and request Blake for the culinary tour!

Blake was fun and knowledgeable! I didn’t realize how much history we’d be getting on a food tour. Blake has a lot of life experiences to offer as well….including great cooking acumen! I would definitely go again! The only thing I would suggest would be having either a sweet or savory option at Handy and Hot. Amazing little eatery, but I’m not a huge fan of sweets in general. Going there for breakfast this morning actually!

Our guide was Tad Legare. He led us through the Yorktown on the 9pm tour, and it was so entertaining AND chilling. His matter-of-fact delivery did more to freak us out than many of the more theatrical tours. He also knows a ton about the ship. A must see in Charleston.

My family enjoyed the walking history tour of downtown Charleston. Blake was an excellent guide who did well adapting his tour to the interests of the group as a whole. Anyone who is considering a walking tour of this area, I would not hesitate to recommend Bulldog Tours and Blake. We look forward to joining Blake in the future on one of his culinary tours.
