A very beautiful walk through the heart of Charleston with lots of historical anecdotes told by a very well spoken guide; a stroll, not a hike. We really got to know the city much better than on a bus tour.

Booked the tour for Saturday 9pm through their web site. There were actually multiple tours because of the large number of people and they started the tours at least by 8:45pm. Tour guide was good - he had a personality that fit the ghost tour well. Gave some history of Charleston also. Quite a lot of walking so need to... More

Great tours and tour guides. Very informed and knowledgable.. This was our first time in Charleston so we wanted to get in as much history of the city as possible. We were very happy that we chose the tours with Bulldog. They were great. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

This was my very first trip to Charleston. We decided to take the Savor the Flavors tour. Our tour guide David Hanson was terrific! He was very knowledgeable and he gave us a history lesson not only about the food of Charleston, but also on the city itself. We visited 5 different locations and ate everything from appetizers to desserts.... More

the guide walked to fast and i felt rushed. i would have enjoyed more about the cooking instead of history of the state as we had just finished a historical tour.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you felt rushed. Yes, we do talk about the culinary history of the city, but it is not the same as a regular history tour. We are sorry if you felt the information was redundant. Thank you for your review. More

We took the old city jail ghost tour. Our guide was very knowledgable and the tour was interesting, but at times he seemed to spend more time talking about how to act on the tour and not actually talking about the history. That being said, it's a great way to spend a night, and it is very interesting and informative.

We are sorry if you felt that the guide spoke too much about the rules of the tour. I've not heard that complaint before. It is something that has to be addressed, but we do not want our guides to focus on those pointers too much during the tour. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. And please contact... More

Our "Ghost" tour was exceptionally well done ! Informative, entertaining and full of history and myths....a great combination. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and kept our attention with the right amount of fact, humor and fun. Will definitely recommend it to everyone.

We had fun on the jail tour. We took the 10pm tour because we wanted the full effect. It was entertaining, but we didn't hear/see anything out of the ordinary. It was still creepy.

I signed up for two tours with Bulldog: Walking History Tour and the Low-Country Culinary tour. Both were fantastic. The walking history tour was chock full of information but didn't overwhelm you. I also made mental notes of other sites pointed out on the tour which I later went back to to explore. The culinary tour really blew my mind... More
