With kids aged 9 and 10, Mimi took our group on a really fun tour. It was completely age appropriate and just the right amount of scary. A great way to learn some history and hear intriguing stories. Mimi was so knowledgable about the area that she gave us great advice about other things to see and do. She was... More

There was about 20 of us in a group that traveled together we learned many of the area ghost stories as well as took a very detailed look at an old dungeon. The dungeon was awesome and full of great stories. Our Guide kept us entertained throughout the night with many... More

This tour is much better than the description provides. You visit excellent restaurants that serve a good amount of different dishes. The guide knows so much about the history and makes it enjoyable throughout the tour.

Tour was ok. Would be better if the tour guides used candlelight or lanterns or costumes. Also would be better if the tour guide believed in ghosts.

We did the Charleston City Jail Tour. It was a lot of fun. My children, ages 7 and 10 really enjoyed it. We will definitely do this again.

Our tour group had at leadt 7 children under the age of 10. While the website does indicate that the Haunted Jail Tour is not for children a price is listed. Our tour guide was quite knowledgeable but we felt he didn't include everything he could have due to the presenc if children. Definitely did not feel we got our... More

I can assure you that our guides do not hold back just because children are on the tours as we always allow children. Again, I am sorry you didn't enjoy... More

Our family took the Dungeons and Pirates tour. My kids totally loved it and one totally had the heebies afterwards. We took the 7p tour so it was not quite so scary. The guide was excellent and conducted the tour at a good pace and knew how to tailor it for the people in the group. I think all of... More
