We loved our tour with Mary Helen. Nothing like being shown the town by a native with a true love for her city and a very thorough knowledge of it's history. Our local friend recommended this tour and even joined us for her second time with the Sisters and she was amazed about the new information she learned. One of the unexpected highlights was watching a kindergarten class practice their bell performance on the steps of the school. You can't plan something like that but it sure put a smile on everyone's faces. You will enjoy this tour and learn many interesting things about Charleston and it's history.

Therese was our guide and she was dynamite! Informative, funny, engaging -- a real delight. She loves her city and she knows so well . We were a group of 20 and it felt like five -- she kept us all involved, answered all questions -- and you never felt she was tied to a script as you might with some guides. I highly recommend this tour and also recommend you take it your first day in Charleston. It's a wonderful orientation to the history, geography and spirit of the city.

Therese was our guide through over 300 years of Charleston history and it was a blast! She was both informational and fun giving us facts both historical and hilarious. Her ability to remember the names of all of us in her group was phenomenal considering I sometimes forget my shoes. She even remembered us when we ran into her later in the week. She was extremely approachable and obviously loves the city she and her family have called home for generations. The 2 1/2 hours flew by and left us wanting more. Seriously, if we could have gotten her to join us on Folly for drinks we would have died of happiness. We will definitely be back!
