I LOVE this bridge! It's one of my favorites and a true historical landmark. It's beautiful to see driving across and viewing from various locations in Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. On the South side of the bridge is a pathway where you can walk or jog across heading into Mt. Pleasant or into downtown Charleston. There's also a historic race... More

The bridge is impressive. It really is an engineering feat. Went through the bridge and was impressed with the efficiency and the views every time.

Loved this bridge when we were on vacation. We stayed in mount pleasant and had to cross back and forth to Charleston. Beautiful view. The most beautiful time was sunset I didn't go over during sunrise. It was breathtaking. Love the way the bridge was lit up at night. Seems to be sturdy too.

Put on your waking shoes and bring water if it's hot. The entire bridge walk is 2 miles, and then there is the walk back - another 2 miles. It is best to park on the Mt Pleasant side. You can park for free at Waterfront Park (located under the bridge, Harry Hallman Blvd.) There is direct access to the... More

Did not get to visit the park that is located on the Mount Pleasant side of the bridge, but did see it. The bridge is awe inspiring to see. We took a harbor tour and got much more information on it.

Ok, it's a bridge , but they have made it very friendly to walkers and bikers and the views from the bridge are outstanding

It's fun and excellent exercise to walk the bridge using the sidewalk on the bridge's south side. One can park at the base of the bridge on the Mount Pleasant side and walk the market route. The full round trip is 5 miles, but one can walk only as far as one wants. The view along the whole route is... More

Man this bridge is imposing. You don't realise the enormity of it until you drive on it. It provides the backdrop everywhere you go in Charleston.
