Seeing this giant bridge from miles away was impressive but traversing up to the pinnacle was really something. Looking out to Patriot’s Point to see the USS Yorktown was epic. It was nice to see a complete pedestrian area from Charleston to Mount Pleasant. Very...More

Drove ove it both on a beautiful day and a very rainy day when it was wrapped in a cloud. The latter is very scary. Glad the Uber driver knew what he was doing.

For techie types, this is a beautiful sight. We saw it up close from Charleston Harbor Tours and got to hear the echo from the ship’s horn. The federal government budgeted over $800 million for it, and the state built it for only $650 million....More

Pictures does not give just for this landmark! it must be seen in person. If you're from a town that does not have landmarks as such, you will be impressed at this! We definitely were impressed with this and learning the history behind it.

If you are the driver in your car, you cannot enjoy the pretty scenery as much as your passengers, but this is really a very impressive, nicely constructed bridge.

Well, you can't really miss this bridge if you're in Charleston. And if you only plan to stay in the downtown area, take a drive over to Mt. Pleasant or Isle of Palms so you can have the opportunity to drive over it. It is...More

The bicycle and pedestrian lane is 2.7 miles long, measuring from Patriots Point Road to East Bay Street. Measuring only the part that is on the bridge structure, the walkway is 2.4 miles long.
