As you approach this bridge, you will be impressed by the construction. As you drive up, it will seem like you are in an airplane. So tall! Very convenient and safe. Some day, a friend and I want to jog it as we see many people doing during the day. One of the best bridges in the USA.

We had the privilege of staying at a hotel at the base of the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge for 6 nights. With that, we drove over the bridge numerous examples times to get to different sites. What a beauty each and every time we saw it! We were also privileged to see the bridge from a boat tour as we... More

We ticked the box by driving over the bridge to get the great view of downtown Charleston & then more or less turned around & drove back over. Would we do it again - probably not

2.5 miles each way makes for a great 5 mile walk, wear music buds as the traffic is only 6 feet from you, but the ocean below, the views, the breeze, some nights almost scary, are just so invigorating. I call this MY Bridge because it's strength and beauty are everything I want to be.

Beautiful bridge with unique architecture. Sweeping views of downtown Charleston. Has well laid out walking and biking lanes. 2.5 miles across the span in one direction.

I've walked the bridge many times & I will miss it when I leave Charleston, it really does dominate the skyline & it is beautiful to look at and to view from.

We went after dark. The walk on the pier with the breeze blowing was amazing. The bridge was lit up and was an incredible view from below. The pier has seats and swings along the length. A no cost attraction that is well worth the visit off of Patriots Point.

Park on the Mt P side and enjoy the hike. Beautiful views and awesome sunset. Try to plan it an hour before sunset to see all the sights.

The bridge is truly beautiful to look at. I am fortunate enough to have my office sitting on the water beneath the bridge near the beautiful park that is under the bridge. Great walking or running across the bridge or through the park. People are constantly stopping to take pics from my office building parking lot.
