What a day! Our management team at Fleet Landing planned a little "get out of the board room" day with OPA that included a scavenger hunt around our side of downtown Charleston, SC as well as some team-building exercises in Joe Riley Waterfront Park. We had so much fun on the scavenger hunt - 15 little ants hunting points all over the city! There are photo challenges, group challenges, questions (some of them quite tricky!), and super powers. Our group was lucky enough to score some answers from local carriage and walking tour guides, too. We ended up back at the park to do some great (and more importantly, fun) team building exercises that had our managers learning about themselves and one another and also doubled over with laughter. It was a great day to be in downtown Charleston, and we can't recommend OPA enough for their fast response time, customizable options for our group, and fun and professional execution!

Combat Archery - loads of fun! Our group of 7 spent two fun and active hours playing different competitive games...think Hunger Games. You could easily have a group of 20 and still have lots of fun in two hours. Highly recommended.

Ben recently hosted a day of paintball for myself and the other 20 members of my bachelor party near Isle of Palms, SC. Ben delivered a top-notch product, coordinating all important details and ensuring that everything we needed was available to us at the paintball course.

Many of my friends and I have played paintball before, and the consensus is that this was "far and away the best paintball experience we've had." Ben has a great relationship with the course, which allowed us to keep to our own group. Furthermore, Ben had a few awesome games up his sleeve, including capture the flag, Revolutionary War (1 ball at a time), and Protect the President.

The experience was further improved because Ben took care of everything - ample water and Gatorade (important for a steamy southern Saturday in early September), snacks, plenty of paint, organized gear and equipment, grilled lunch, and some prizes to be earned throughout the day.

Ben took the utmost care planning out a great day for us, and his organization, experience, forethought, and professionalism shone through. Most importantly, he made it easy on the planners, and FUN for everyone involved!

We would surely book another adventure with Ben in the future.

We used On Purpose Adventures to help find an activity for a bachelorette party in Charleston for 7 girls. We decided on a Scavenger Hunt around Charleston that also included drink tickets. We were under the impression that our host would accompany us on the hunt and it would crafted to our bride. After meeting the host, she handed us a tablet, back-pack with water and two drink (2 per person) vouchers (could only be used at two places) and we were told to meet her in two hours. This is something I could do have planned myself in an hour. I normally never write reviews, but feel the need to share/warn other consumers. The host was very pleasant and nice and met us to get the tablet after we told her this was not for us. It would be one thing if the fee for this hunt was minimal, but the company made over $500 off our group and for a computerized tour. I am incredibly disappointed and will NOT recommend to future Charleston visitors especially for a bachelorette party. You're better off designing your own hunt.

Thank you very much for describing exactly what our hunts are all about. After reading the description of our service from the third party site you found us through, everything you mentioned was in their listing. No where in the listing does it saw you would be accompanied. You would get a map, a digital one with interactive one at that. For those reading this, a little background. This was a very last minute add, about 3 days, since we didn't receive any custom info about the bride we couldn't customize anything as per our usual. The bride of this group contacted the third party wanting to do a boat charter, which is always are great experience in Charleston. However, the MOH contacted the same company stating she wanted to surprise the bride with the hunt. That right there is a sign for disaster for the weekend from our experience with bachelorette parties. Don't do what the bride wants. That's a good plan. Then, we receive an email at 2 am stating that you are wanting to cancel your event that is to take place that following afternoon. We graciously offered a 25% discount which is not our normal for day-of cancellations. This group refused, as our guess is they were trying to find a boat to do what the bride wanted. They proceeded with the hunt. And it is exactly as she described, which is how we and our partners describe it, even the 2 drinks. We can understand your frustration. You didn't do what the bride wanted so no one was having fun during an event that always brings joys and lots of memories. With that mentality and mindset and most likely with a pissed off bride, no one was able to have fun. We get it. That is not our fault. You received what was described which has always delivered. Regardless, we hope you enjoyed your time in Charleston.

Ben and Kent put on a great day for our bachelor party. It was first class. They were ready when we got there, everything laid out. Had different games for us. Anyone interested in doing something different for a bachelor party should definitely consider using On Purpose Adventures. Great day was had by all attributed to On Purpose!

This was one of the best events ever, it brought together a group of strangers that built a bond that will last forever. I did things that I never would have dreamed of even trying and was the most fun I've ever had!!!

Ben did an awesome job on the scavenger hunt in Charleston for us. I've been in this city for a couple years not and still got to learn more things about this city! I also thought that this scavenger hunt was unique because he also used anagram in it. The instructions were fairly easy to understand and there were no issues with throughout the event. I really enjoyed this scavenger hunt and I hope I do this again some day!

My coworkers and friends set up a scavenger hunt with Ben and nearly everyone cried with laughter at some point in the evening. We met under the full moon in downtown Charleston and set off on a journey through the streets, stopping at various places to accomplish tasks that On Purpose Adventures designed (and added a few stops of our own). Ben catered to the groups wishes and even made sure to take video and photos throughout the night. You'd have thought he was a part of our little work family, he fit right in! Highly recommend Ben and On Purpose Adventures for any of your groups needs

My wife and I have been married for five years. I contacted Ben about a month before our anniversary, and asked him to set up a carriage ride for us, as it was something I promised my wife when we first started dating way back when. Ben came through in flying colors. The carriage was waiting for us when we got out of the parking garage. Inside, Ben had chilled sparkling grape juice (darn open container laws), chocolates, and strawberries. After our wonderful private carriage tour around downtown, we were met by Irene Rose who serenaded my wife in front of Oak Steakhouse for dinner. During our dinner, my wife received a palmetto rose for each year of marriage. She is not a very emotional person, and was literally crying on the street she was so moved. Best anniversary ever thanks to Ben and his crew. I would highly recommend On Purpose Adventures for anything.
