Recently took a morning historical tour. The guide was knowledgeable and humorous culminating in his rendition of "Summertime". Made history come alive with all the anecdotes. Highlight of our stay in the city. The humane treatment of the horses was also to their credit. Keep up the good work. Next time we re contemplating the Civil War tour.

Team Dale (Dale the guide and Dale the Belgian horse) gave us a fabulous tour (route 1). Her real estate background was an advantage. She has great stories, is very knowledgeable and obviously loves her city. We had a great time. Kudos.

Although we had done a a walking tour we decided to do a carriage ride. It's a weird system on which of the three areas of downtown you will ride through...you nor the driver know until you get to the starting point. We ended up touring area 1, the Battery park area and oldest part of Charleston...the same area we... More

Signed up for this tour last minute. The carriage was a full ride and lots of fun. Our tour guide josh was the most informative and even sang! Our horse was a very well taken care of precious guy named Franklin!

A fantastic way to see the parts of Charleston that our feet wouldn't have carried us to! We had the very well informed Ginger and her trusty steed Bill to guide us round the beautiful back streets and past some of the major sites from Charleston's involvement in the Civil War. This tour only runs once a day so best... More

I had only a few hours in Charleston, it was hot, and I was a little tired. After looking on Trip Advisor, I decided to take a carriage tour, even though I typically avoid doing things that seem very "touristy." Joshua was an excellent guide with a nice personality - he was knowledgeable, humorous, and polite. We learned about history,... More

I haven't taken carriage tours with another company, so it's hard to compare, but it would seem that the major difference would be in the knowledge as well as the entrainment value of the driver. Our driver won on both counts with a steady stream of facts and lore about Charlestown and its buildings and culture, both past and present.... More

This was our second carriage ride in 4 years. Both have been fun and informative. Being able to place the history in context with the place makes the history come to life. We took the special Civil War tour with Matt and "Elwood." Not sure if Matt is a tour guide or an educator...but didn't matter as he gave us... More

Delightful guide pointed out some interesting and likely lesser known tidbits of history that made the tour so enjoyable. He even belted out his rendition of the song "Summertime" by Porky & Bess!
