We walked through the graveyard surrounding the Circular Congregational Church inspecting the various headstones. It is rewarding to see a collaboration between the infamous architectural college and the church to refurbish the decaying headstones. Some of the headstones date back to the early 1800s while...More

This is such an amazingly built old church. You have to wonder how they figured out to build a round church back that many years with brick. Services are still held in this church regularly and is well worth a visit.

We did not go in the church, as we were there on a Sunday during a service, but we did walk around the cemetery. Seeing such old graves was fascinating and from what I have read, there are many more buried here than those with...More

One of those places you can not pass up! Small enough that you can spend 30 mins. wandering around or spend 2 hrs. reading about all of the local history!

Learned about this on the carriage tour. Contains the oldest grave in Charleston. Very neat history lesson.

We toured the Circular Church during the Piccolo Spoleto’s festival to hear a concert in the sanctuary. The acoustics were great. Walk around the cemetery as well. Very interesting design and worth the visit.

We visited this church when my sister in law and her husband visited. They had a midweek service that featured a 3-piece band.

This was an interesting place with graves and headstones dating back to revolutionary times. We found new information about our ancestors here. People were so helpful to us. It was interesting to learn the history of the church and feel the atmosphere there.

If they are there, yes, but it's not open to tour the way others are in town.
