I visit the park every day to walk my dog. Never fails to delight. Has a great waterpark for kids during the summer and a couple of campsites.

Very cheap entry since it is a county park. Wonderful walking and biking paths and the amenities are wonderful for kids. Splash zone is a wonderful environment for children, with water slides, numerous pools, and special water actions and the lazy river is a nice...More

We stayed there in the spring. They were doing some renovations. But there was still plenty to do.we stayed in a camper and had our bikes to ride around the park. They have a great doggie park.

A fun family activity. A car load can drive through the park for $20 to see the gorgeous light displays. Different themes...toyland, Nativity, under the sea, America, etc. You can stop for hot chocolate, ride the merry-go-round, and more.

Depends upon what you mean by hiking....there is a 2 mile paved path around the perimeter of the park that takes you by some gorgeous scenery, but it's pretty tame for serious hikers...great for a dog walk.
