it was such a Treat , enjoyed the outdoor experience in the park.... the crowd was a delight everyone was so friendly. I enjoyed the Reggas band that was playing at the Park. Could not have picked a better week for visiting Charleston.

Depends upon what you mean by hiking....there is a 2 mile paved path around the perimeter of the park that takes you by some gorgeous scenery, but it's pretty tame for serious hikers...great for a dog walk.
