This is a great place to go camping with your family or friends. There are great walking/bike paths, an awesome dog park, a rock climbing wall, and also live Reggae music in the summer time!

One of my favorite things about being a grandpa is being able to connect with my grandkids and help them grow in the natural world. I brought them to the James Island county park recently and we all had a great time together.

I have been here several times. I've been there just to ride bikes and walk around; visited the dog park, and the Festival of Lights. All a great experience

Depends upon what you mean by hiking....there is a 2 mile paved path around the perimeter of the park that takes you by some gorgeous scenery, but it's pretty tame for serious hikers...great for a dog walk.
