The food and drinks on the tours are chosen by various restaurant and bar partners and feature an array of eclectic dishes and concoctions that provide insight into Charleston's cuisine and cocktail scene. On each tour, you will not only have an opportunity to sample some of the Lowcountry's finest offerings, but also to meet the owners, chefs and mixologists behind Charleston's impressive culinary and bar innovations. Four Tours Available:Charleston Culinary Tour, Chefs' Kitchen Tour, Farmer's Market Tour and Mixology Tour. As most tours sell out, all reservations are required in advance. Groups need to be booked at least three days prior to tour. Each tour is limited in size. Charleston Culinary Tours are held rain or shine.

we took the historic Downtown tour in 2014 and it was a wonderful culinary experience, great regional food, excellent restaurants and an overall good experience. so good that this year we decided to to take the Upper King st. tour and the Historic downtown Tour. Not as good of an experience particularly the Downtown tour. Because of weather concerns the... More

Plenty of barbecue, home-made hot sauces, southern-fried chicken, collards, and seafood all served with a slight personal twist and plenty of good old SC hospitality with our host Glenn. The sun blazed down on our longest walk of the day but we arrived to find the most rich and sumptuous pecan & chocolate pie you could ever find. Can't wait... More

We went on the BBQ and Blues Sunset Harbor Tour on Fri, June 24, 2016. What a fun night! The boat was not crowded, but there was a nice mix of folks enjoying the night. There were 3 decks, so plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the views, the music, and the food. We had a leisurely trip out... More

Guilds Hollowell was a fantastic guide taking us at a comfortable pace through three downtown restaurants and ending with Paolo's Gelato. You don't need dinner afterwards as the tastings are of a suitable portion to make a meal. We had barbecue, smoked meat, sandwiches, calamari, mussels and more. Guilds was very knowledgeable about Charleston and especially the restaurant scene.

The food was delicious and our tour guide, Hoon Calhoun, was amazing! Learning from Hoon (without the food) was worth the price of the tour! Great tour, great food, great value!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent Chef's Kitchen Tour and most especially the Charleston history information and all of the interesting stories as told by our great tour guide Hoon Calhoun. We would recommend this tour to anyone looking for something a little different. We got to meet several Charleston chefs and even got to go behind the scenes into their... More

Our guide was excellent, I thought no her name was Franny but I am not sure. She gave us the history of Charleston and also the culinary history of the city up... More

This tour surpassed our expectations in multiple ways and included a great balance of walking, talking, sitting, and sampling! We will sign up again on future visits to Charleston as we cannot imagine a better opportunity for exposure to "favorite plates" while visiting multiple restaurants and with such great commentary.
