I had originally tried to schedule a food tour with another company and they were full so this was second choice but we weren't at all disappointed. This is one of the best tours we've been on! Our tour guide Charley was fantastic. She gives you a bit of history on the food you're eating at each restaurant you visit.... More

We have participated in this tour (The Historic Downtown) twice now (2014 and 2016), and both times we have had the luxury of having had Glenn Morehead as our guide. We were there on July 20th. He has a great, laid back personality, and one can tell he truly enjoys his work which makes it all the more pleasing. He... More

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU EAT BEFORE THIS TOUR! I have been on many food tours and sometimes you just get enough of a taste to make you want more but can't have it. This food tour lives up to the Southern tradition that requires the host to have entirely too much food so that no one leaves... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The food and the history was great. I wish I could remember the tour guides name, because she was especially helpful. We did not know ahead of time that we could request the vegan or vegetarian option. We had one vegan in our group of 4, and she asked the restaurants if they could bring... More

Glen our guide was awesome he was very knowledgable about the restaurants we went to as well as giving us some insight into the bars in the area. The food was great and there was a lot if it. When we were done we were stuffed. Great time will do it again when we go back

This tour was very well run and informative. Glenn gave us a lot of information on the best dishes at many of the restaurants in downtown Charleston, both ones we visited and ones we didn't. He was quite knowledgeable about the chefs, their specialties, and their histories. Upon further conversation with him, we discovered that he had to pass a... More

Loved our Charleston Food Tour Our guide Charley was so excited to share her love of the north end of King St which is in a revival of sorts. Our only wish would be to hear even more of the history of how food evolved in Charleston .. Not to say she didn't touch on that but we can never... More

My husband and I loved our first food tour. It was a great introduction to the restaurant scene in Charleston. We sampled food (tons) from five restaurants, and Glenn did a great job of listing plenty of other places to try. For the rest of the week it was a bit easier to choose a place to eat; we felt...
