It's a beautiful landmark, but that's about it. No activities really, it's just a little spot to walk. Would recommend you visit but don't go out of your way.
It doesn't matter if it's gray and rainy, the colors still shine through and make this street a must-do for pictures. The whole of Charleston has such interesting architecture and beautiful wrought-iron work and this street offers such a different sight with the beautiful colors.
I was driving past it before I realized it. Nothing special other than some brightly painted houses. But, it was listed as one of the things to see in Charleston.
