It's a partial block of colorful houses. The colors are bright and unique - but that's it. I'd go to say you went and take a couple photos. Nice side trip if you're in the area, takes about 5 minutes honestly to see it. If you are over there, go see the tiny liquor store on the corner - George Washington and Black Beard are both said to of visited it on more than one occasion and it's the oldest building in town.

This was a fun thing to see in Charleston. There isn’t a lot to do necessarily, it’s just cool to see and snap a few pictures.

They are historical houses, I get that. They are colorful. Still with so much else to see in town I kinda find myself asking why? We usually walk by when in town but just because it's part of a larger and beautiful walk.

There are better examples of colored houses in Tenby, Wales for example, if you want to see colored houses. I liked some of the other houses along East Battery more than these.

Overcrowded area now. Great place for a selfish, but overrated. Currently a lot of construction going on, so difficult to take a good picture from across the street.
