Captain Sabrina is AMAZING!! The children's tour with the treasure hunt was such a wonderful experience for not only our 4 year old, but for my husband and I as well. There were about 8 kids ranging from 2-12 years old in our group and they ALL seemed to have a wonderful time. Captain Sabrina was extremely knowledgeable and welcomed any questions (& silly comments from the kiddos). Each participating kid was given pirate gear (inflatable sword, pirate bandana, balloon parrot, pirate flag and of course the found treasure)!!! If you are interested in doing any type of tour in Charleston, I highly recommend Captain Sabrina and her husband (Charleston Pirate & Gohst tours). You will have an amazing time, laugh at Sabrina’s witty jokes, and learn a ton about the city of Charleston.

My daughter (6) and I did the kids scavenger hunt and it was a lot of fun — Sabrina was great. While the kids ran around Sabrina talked with the parents and answered their questions. She also told the kids a lot about Charleston. My daughter’s favorite part was the bandana craft — she loved that. I’d recommend this activity to any family with a young child or children.

Eric was a very knowledgeable guide who shared loads of information about the city of Charleston, pirates, and the intersection/overlap of the two subjects. We learned a ton while walking through the city, and it was a neat spin on a Charleston history lesson. We ended up going to a few more historical sites and museums later in the day, and it was great to see how all of the history intertwines and links different stories together. Highly recommend for a more unique, fun walking tour experience!

What a great adventure for kids. The pirate who leads the show was excellent, very knowledgeable and truly engaged the kids with tales of pirates (and one of the battle of Sullivans island my grandkids are still laughing about). They were given pirate caps, inflatable swords and treasure maps and sent running all over the park looking for the treasure. They were quite excited when they found it. I would strongly recommend this tour for any parents or grandparents that want their kids/grandkids to enjoy their visit to Charleston. Truly top notch!

My husband and I decided to sign up for the evening Pirate and Ghost tour during our stay in Charleston. Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed!!! Eric was knowledgeable, funny, and most importantly showed us around the most haunted parts of Charleston. We both had chills on multiple occasions! We would highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for something to do or to learn a little about this city!!

We took the Pirates & Ghosts Tour and absolutely loved it. Eric was not only knowledgeable & captivating, but it was obvious that he really loves the subject matter and giving these tours. We definitely learned some history, but creeped out, as well.

If you’re considering other ghost tours, stop researching & book this one.

We did the Children's pirate treasure hunt tour with Captain Sabrina. Our kids are 6 yrs, 4 yrs and 2 yrs old. They had an AMAZING time!!! Worth the money but still reasonable considering all that the kids came away with. My husband and I also had a great time doing this kid treasure hunt tour. Captain Sabrina was wonderful with the kids. She had her rescue parrot with her. My kids are still telling me how much fun they had doing their treasure hunt to anyone who will listen.

My family did the Ghost and Pirate Tour from 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm. It’s a husband-wife company. The lady did an awesome job with the tour. She knew her history well, was entertaining with the ghost story (while doing a good job of keeping it child friendly). Most of all - our whole family loved her sense of humor. She’s very good at her job!

My fiancée and I had the joy of being guided around by Eric on this wonderful pirate tour last week. Charleston doesn't scream pirate hangout to most tourists, (something the city should certainly capitalize on more) but I'd heard somewhere that pirates were active in the area so we checked out this tour.

Eric is a wonderful guide, clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. 2 hours is a good chunk of time to be walking around, but the material was so engaging and well-delivered that it felt like an incredible bargain and the time flew by. It's rare to find historical tours and guides that are quite so funny and, as an added bonus, there were only a few other people on our tour, making it a very personalized experience. Easily our favorite tour of the trip, and we did several.

Wholeheartedly recommend and will definitely check out their other tours next time we're in town!

I loved walking around the French Quarter, seeing those old buildings and hearing what happened there. This kind of experience gives a vacation depth. It was great to have the historical building highlighted and learn what life was like at the time of the founding of the city. The walk is just plain gorgeous to boot!
