The tour was great. Eric is a great story teller and knows Pirates. My daughter and myself attended and she really enjoyed hearing about all of the different pirate stories. She even bought a book about the South Carolina Pirates afterwards. It was very warm, but Eric did his best to keep us in the shade and we were able... More

Eric our guide is clearly an expert in pirate history. He described pirate culture, traditions and the histories of several of the more notorious pirates associated with Charleston. He kept the tour light with periodic jokes and ironic observations. Would recommend this tour. He also responded to an emailed question after the tour which I had failed to ask during... More

My 9 year old grandson chose this tour as part of his birthday celebration. We first visited the Provost Dungeon then met the guide Eric for the evening tour.. He loved the way Eric was dressed like a real pirate and enjoyed this stories. Although we walked a lot, the pace was good and it was so interesting even in... More

We took the Children's Treasure Hunt tour. My girls are 4 and 7 and really enjoyed following the map to find the treasure. Sabrina our Pirate guide was fantastic! Adults and Children were very entertained and also educated by her stories. I highly recommend this tour.

Eric our guide was terrific. Great pirate stories very factual. Good ghost and local color stories. Best of the several walking tours we've done of Charleston.

I loved it! My husband loved it! Our boys, 17 and 7, loved it!! We started at the powder magazine, where i, most likely, met a distant cousin, Charles Ramsey, who told us all about the building and it's history. Then Eric came, to take us on our tour. First, let me say that Eric is awesome! He knows his... More

I went with my husband and 2 boys age 10 and 12. I was interested in seeing some of Charleston but wanted it to be interesting for the boys. Everyone had a good time and my 12 year old even wanted the non-fiction pirate book (which will count for his school's summer reading - Win/Win).

Our tour guide pirate was great. Very informative and really knew the subject matter. I thought it would have been more fun for kids since it was about pirates, but it really was more of a factual history tour than entertainment. The only thing odd about the tour was that it really had little to do with the sites along... More

Thank you for the review. Perhaps your family should have taken our Children's Treasure Hunt Tour. Yes, the 2-hour pirate tour is a factual history tour, and some children don't have the attention span for that much history. That's why we have a Children's Treasure Hunt Tour for the younger kids. We recommend that tour for children 8 and under.... More

The night Ghost Tour with Sabrina was awesome!! Very informative and fun. We loved it and so did my boys (age 8 & 10). The boys loved it so much that they asked to book another tour for our last day in Charleston. Eric's day Pirate Tour was fabulous. Thanks to all the wonderful stories, the boys had to buy... More
