My guess is many positive reviews relate to the daytime/children tours. We took the night ghost tour & while there was some pirate stories, felt it unnecessary for the tour guide Eric to be dressed in pirate garb as we walked about the city. The stories were only ok and seemed to get more unbelievable as the time went on-... More

I'm sorry that the tour didn't meet your expectations. Your guess about positive reviews relating to our daytime tours is incorrect. I hope that other readers will read further and see that we get 5-star reviews for our evening tour as well as our daytime pirate history tour and our children's tour. We don't market the evening tour as an... More

We went on a girls trip to Charleston, SC and this was one of the things I was looking forward to the most. I was not disappointed! I have done a ghost walk in Charleston before that was pretty uninteresting. Sabrina was so entertaining, funny, and most importantly, knowledgeable. There were a few children (not my own) in the group.... More

We did a kids treasure hunt for a group of kids and it was great! We had kids ranging 3-6 and everyone had fun. I would recommend it for kids up to 8. The kids learned pirate history facts and got a guided tour around White Point Garden in the Battery. They kept the kids moving. Each historical site was... More

We enjoyed our pirate tour very much! Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging. Not only to us, but to those passing by as well. He did a fantastic job of telling you the history and tying up the loose ends by the end of the tour. A delightful experience! Would definitely recommend to others!!!

If you wish to visit Charleston's Historic District, I suggest this be your first tour. The fabric and personality of Charles town are unique and acclimating to the beginnings of this important port city through this tour.... prepares and explains the founding elements, the burgeoning culture, and the lusty intrigue of Charleston's early years. The necessary romance with legendary pirates... More

This was one of the best tours we have ever done. Our guide (dressed as a pirate with a live parrot) was soooo knowledgable that it was overwhelming! He knows so much abut the history of the pirate trade in this area, details, stories, and will back it up with references if you want to know. This tour added a... More

First time for my wife and I to visit Charleston and there is plenty to do. I'm always one for history and ghost adventures and this fitted the bill to a tee. Called and had a no hassle reservation, the lady in which ended up being our host for the evening was very cool and great to talk to. Answered... More

Sabrina is super knowledgeable and very friendly. We ended up being the only two people on the tour, and got to go at our own pace and ask a ton of questions (we were there in the middle of the week). Definitely recommend this!

The tour was great. Eric is a great story teller and knows Pirates. My daughter and myself attended and she really enjoyed hearing about all of the different pirate stories. She even bought a book about the South Carolina Pirates afterwards. It was very warm, but Eric did his best to keep us in the shade and we were able... More
