I loved it! My husband loved it! Our boys, 17 and 7, loved it!! We started at the powder magazine, where i, most likely, met a distant cousin, Charles Ramsey, who told us all about the building and it's history. Then Eric came, to take us on our tour. First, let me say that Eric is awesome! He knows his... More

I went with my husband and 2 boys age 10 and 12. I was interested in seeing some of Charleston but wanted it to be interesting for the boys. Everyone had a good time and my 12 year old even wanted the non-fiction pirate book (which will count for his school's summer reading - Win/Win).

Our tour guide pirate was great. Very informative and really knew the subject matter. I thought it would have been more fun for kids since it was about pirates, but it really was more of a factual history tour than entertainment. The only thing odd about the tour was that it really had little to do with the sites along... More

Thank you for the review. Perhaps your family should have taken our Children's Treasure Hunt Tour. Yes, the 2-hour pirate tour is a factual history tour, and some children don't have the attention span for that much history. That's why we have a Children's Treasure Hunt Tour for the younger kids. We recommend that tour for children 8 and under.... More

The night Ghost Tour with Sabrina was awesome!! Very informative and fun. We loved it and so did my boys (age 8 & 10). The boys loved it so much that they asked to book another tour for our last day in Charleston. Eric's day Pirate Tour was fabulous. Thanks to all the wonderful stories, the boys had to buy... More

This was our last stop on a quick weekend getaway. Eric was so full of knowledge and kept our 7 year old's attention the whole time! In fact, our son is now itching to go home and do some research of his own. This is by far the best thing we did while in Charleston! Thank you Eric!!!

Accompanied a group of 6th-7th graders to Charleston for 5 days. Students and parents took both Pirate & Ghost Tours. Eric & Sabrina have got their stuff together combining solid historical information with great fun and customizing the tour to the audience. Cap't Bob and Doozer the Diva have trained them well. Charleston has several excellent walking tours but either... More

This tour was very fun and extremely informative about some of the pirates that visited Charleston. My family and I found it to be very fascinating to hear about and see some of the local haunts the pirates like to frequent as well. Captain Eric was also very kind and made it fun for my son while giving this tour.

We had a group of 8 for our tour. 4 adults and 4 teens-preteens. This was a great family outing. Everyone loved it. Long enough to learn something new and exciting enough to keep our younger kids attentive.

to I wanted to surprise my 6 year old grandson with an activity outdoors that would educate him and be fun. He really enjoyed the whole experience and so did my daughter. I would recommend this tour for kids that want a break from the beach and the Charleston scene. Not only is it educational but you get to go... More
