The sunset sail with Captain Marc and Monique was absolutely incredible. Sail included 4 friends celebrating a birthday. Marc was super attentive with pointing out landmarks while at the same time recognizing when you wanted privacy to just admire the beauty! Monique was so gracious and accommodating with serving wine and appetizers that we brought, as well as being our unofficial photographer! I cannot recommend this sail enough! This is 100% a must do for any special occasion or just treating yourself to the beauty of a Charleston sunset on the water!

I was trying to plan a bachelorette party for my sister (who lives in Charleston) from southwest Va during COVID19 Yikes! The first sailing place I booked had to cancel so I was scrambling around last minute to find another place. Thank the Lord for Capt. Dustin and Anson! Not only was I able to book with them, but they were easy to find and surprise my sister with. They made mimosa's for the other girls (I don't drink), talked about some historical points we saw on the water took group pictures and were overall warm, fun and just a joy to talk to - very personable. In hindsight, because my experience with them was so good, I'm so happy the other sailing place didn't work out! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a fun, relaxing time on the water. They are decently priced as well and not crazy expensive! I think my sister worried about how much I spent to rent a yacht for 2 hours, but it's not as much as you think. It was my first time sailing and I LOVED it! We all did and the bridal party kept talking about how much they loved it! Thank you SO much Capt. Dustin and Anson for helping me throw a wonderful bachelorette party! =D

We booked a sunset sail for our anniversary, and it was the highlight of our trip to Charleston. We saw an amazing sunset, a thunderstorm in the distance, and a beautiful moonrise. The crew was very professional, hospitable, and proficient in pointing out landmarks in Charleston. We highly recommend these guys to anyone who wants to be spoiled while sailing.

Our family booked a two part outing this past weekend and it was an absolute incredible experience that I would recommend to anyone.

On the first day we took out Kismet, a beautiful motor boat with plenty of room. Very clean, safe and well maintained. Dustin and his crew took us all around the Charleston waters and explained some history of the town. We went under Ravenel Bridge, USS Yorktown and around Ft. Sumter. Both incredible to look at from the water. Had good drinks, food, and they have the party tunes playing.

Day two we took out their sailing boat the 50’ Fate for an evening cruise. I’ve never been on a sailing vessel but that will be a memory I’ll never forget. Beautiful boat, clean, on-board bathroom, kitchen area, etc.. Everything you need! Prefect wind and Dustin is a master at sailing. Gorgeous sunset views into Charleston.

Dustin took the time to go over all of the safety items and gave us a tour of each boat and where everything was.

Again, if you are looking for an incredible experience to do with family or friends this is at the top of the list!

We enjoyed a morning tour in early August celebrating our parent's 50th Anniversary with 15 people (ages: 3, 5, 10, 16, 19, and adults). We had a nice tour of the harbor and then swam for a while. Brandon and Rivers showed us the Jelly Balls we were swimming with were harmless and provided us floats, noodles and advice for enjoying the water. The boat was perfect for those who wanted sun and for those who preferred shade. It was nice to have a bathroom available. We had a wonderful time. Two hours was the perfect amount of time for us.

Our "Girls" birthday celebration week culminated in a Sunset Sail on Fate - A surprise for the bday girl who went absolutely nuts...never seen her so happy!
The 2 person crew earns 100% on hospitality! They greeted us with delight and began exceeding our expectations and needs right away:
They provided a brief and thorough introduction to the boat and trip making us feel completely relaxed and comfortable. Professional, Competent, Friendly, Engaging ...
They made us feel very secure in their desire to take care of us and their responsibilities.
We brought snacks in baggies which were turned into an incredibly well-displayed charcuterie board and served to us on deck soon after we launched.
They served beverages of our choosing and kept us well hydrated!
The weather was perfect as was the water! It was a beautiful 2 hour trip we did not want to end!
We all want to do this experience again!

Booking was easy.
The information provided in advance was thorough with no reason for asking further questions.
I called the cell number provided prior to the trip just to check in with the captain and cell was answered immediately.
It was literally PERFECT!
The highlight of our trip!
THANK YOU!

I booked a sunset sail through Charleston Sailing Charters on Fate for my husband and I for our anniversary. The experience was spectacular and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our captains Scott and Adam were so kind and friendly. They showed us around the boat and we chatted a bit before heading up to the front of the boat where we took in the beautiful views of the harbor and sunset. Scott was kind enough to take several pictures for us and even came over to refill our champagne glasses several times!

Both Scott and Adam were very knowledgeable on sailing but also on Charleston. They provided us with several recommendations of places to go and things to see.

The boat was clean and well maintained and we felt safe throughout the duration of the trip. It was definitely worth every penny and we highly recommend booking with Charleston sailing charters if you ever have the chance!

I can't say enough about how much fun we had on this sunset sailboat cruise/tour of the Charleston harbor. My experience from beginning to end was top-notch. I first spoke with Dustin, one of the owners of the sailboat Fate, and he assured me that so long as we dressed appropriately for the weather we would have a great time. We sailed on March 5, 2021 so it was still chilly during the day and with the wind on the water it was even chillier. However, we layered and it was fine. I would recommend, though, some gloves and scarves as part of the layers if you go during the transition time between winter and spring. We were celebrating my husband's 60th birthday and brought our own snacks and champagne but I really appreciated the boat being equipped with everything: cups, plates, silverware. This meant I didn't have to make a second stop to pick up these items which I'd forgotten. Our sailing guides were Rob and Anson and they made the tour -- with their knowledge of the local history and stories, of the tides and currents, and of sailing in general (and along with the chill Reggae music), we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Charleston Sailing Charters.

Today we went out with Anson and Glen. It was a great time! I definitely recommend doing more than two hour. Glen was very knowledgeable about the area, and Anson had all sorts of fun things like piggly wiggly statues, etc. they were a very personable pair and always ready to do what you need! We will most definitely be back! They recommend lots of great places for us to go after dinner, and we settled on Shem Creek which was an amazing recommendation. 10/10 would recommend to a friend visiting Charleston area.

My significant other and I booked a sunset sail on Fate to celebrate our anniversary. Let me tell you, the trip did not disappoint. Scott and Mimi were fantastic crew with great conversation about Charleston (past and current), food/activity recommendations, fun facts about the boat and sailing, etc. They took candids of us, gave us space to be private, but were very attentive the entire time. The weather was perfect, boat pristine, and we even saw dolphins several times.

We didn't want the night to end but we will definitely be back and can't wait to book Fate, Scott, and Mimi all again!
