I can't say enough about how much fun we had on this sunset sailboat cruise/tour of the Charleston harbor. My experience from beginning to end was top-notch. I first spoke with Dustin, one of the owners of the sailboat Fate, and he assured me that so long as we dressed appropriately for the weather we would have a great time. We sailed on March 5, 2021 so it was still chilly during the day and with the wind on the water it was even chillier. However, we layered and it was fine. I would recommend, though, some gloves and scarves as part of the layers if you go during the transition time between winter and spring. We were celebrating my husband's 60th birthday and brought our own snacks and champagne but I really appreciated the boat being equipped with everything: cups, plates, silverware. This meant I didn't have to make a second stop to pick up these items which I'd forgotten. Our sailing guides were Rob and Anson and they made the tour -- with their knowledge of the local history and stories, of the tides and currents, and of sailing in general (and along with the chill Reggae music), we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
