Hi, my name is Brian Simms. My family has been in the area for 10 generations. Our All About Charleston tour features the history, culture and architecture of the area. We will stroll the streets of the "Holy City" while sharing stories along the way. There is a rich history and culture I would like to share and look forward to showing you the sights of our beautiful city, creating an experience you will remember for years to come!

Our tour guide was Brian. We started first thing in the morning to avoid the afternoon heat. It was a great tour. Brian shared a great deal of interesting historical information in a though-full way. He allowed for follow-up questions and specific inquiries from us as well. If he did not know the answer, he was honest, and told us... More

We were fortunate that my wife and I were the only ones to happen sign up for this mornings tour. Brian was the tour guide and was absolutely delightful. His passion and love for this city was amazing. He is very knowledgable and can tell a great story. What was scheduled to be about a 2 hour tour ended up... More

Brian was very knowledgeable and had great historical anecdotes throughout the entire tour. We had a pretty large group and he accommodated everyone's interests and questions really well. Would definitely recommend to anyone new to the area or just in town for a visit.

Fin was the right balance of knowledgeable and friendly. Enjoyable and educational tour. Don't worry about the temperature too much--a lot of care is taken to stop in shady spots.

Today we went on a tour with Fin and he was really personable as well as an all around great tour guide. I had originally planned on doing the Free Tours By Foot as that's the first company I had found online, but they were full. I had emailed requesting to be notified of any availability and they never bothered... More

This was our 3rd tour with Charleston Sole - we've had both Brian and Fin as tour guides and they are both excellent. They each know how to take you back 300 years and see Charleston as the early settlers did. They give you so much history that you don't hear on other tours and do it with enthusiasm and... More

Fin did an excellent job with the walking tour! He puts you in the "shoes" of the original settlers as you walk through all of the sites you were hoping to see. After the tour concluded, I was able to go back and walk the route, again. Based on Fin's recommendations, I went back to the Old Exchange, the Old... More

Fin was a wonderful tour guide. The tour group was easy to locate and took us to all of the major sites that we were hoping to see. The walking pace was easy so anyone could take part. Fin was especially conscious of how hot it was on that particular day, and he ensured that anywhere that we stopped was... More

Brian was a great guide and I had a really good time on his walking tour. I liked the fact that he began the tour by asking if anyone had any particular interests or things they wanted to see because he would adapt the tour to make sure we could cover those topics or places. He was very knowledgeable and... More
