Fish and chips rocked.

Great little hole in the wall. the fish and chips were as good as advertised. If the service had been more open/welcoming, it would have earned a 5.

The food was very good the service not so good. Waitress was a little put off when one of the gentlemen in our party asked her name! We had salads, wings and sandwiches. The wings were the only disappointment, a little undercooked and gooey. The potato salad side was delicious. Seemed to be only one waitress working entire restaurant so... More

No trip to downtown Charleston is complete without a stop at The Griffin for a cold beverage and snacks or lunch. A large selection of beers and the food is good. Check out all the $ bills hanging everywhere. Fun and friendly bar.

Affordable with a nice atmosphere. Got beers and shared fish and chips, which were delicious. I would absolutely return.

Nice old pub , shocking service though . Bartender was rude . Wouldn't bother going back just because we weren't made to feel welcome .

Voted the best fish and chips in Charleston, the meal did not disappoint. I especially liked cole slaw, The fish was perfect, not greasy at all and very tasty. The local Palmetto Porter was a perfect partner for the meal.

If you looked up dive bar in the dictionary this place should be in the description. Its unique, fun, and for a casual night out the perfect place to go in Charleston. The location is also pretty central and the people who go are just those who want to relax and get a good beer. Make sure to leave a... More

Enjoyed this bar. Very popular as it was standing room only at midday. We had salads and some had the beers. Enjoyed posting our $ on the wall along with over$20 thousand others according to our guide
