The explainers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Grounds are gorgeous. It was extremely hot the day we went - would've enjoyed it more if we went on a cooler day. Museum and intro room are VERY well done.

I enjoyed the walk through the old Charles Towne Landing. Very informative, very interesting. The zoo was nice and well kept. The old ship was cool. The welcome center had a walk through history display that was very informative.

We went right after it stopped raining, so we had the whole park to ourselves. Very enjoyable & informative. Reasonably priced. Relaxing walk.

Fantastic place to take the kids for some hands-on history lessons. You can reach out and touch history. Great photo ops. Characters in costume lecture about "how it was back then." I highly recommend this site to locals and visitors!
