We stayed a hotel just a couple of blocks away so we thought it would be fun to walk around the campus and check it out. This is one of the prettiest campuses I've ever been on! Lots of large trees spread out over the walkways with spanish moss hanging out over them, which made it look sort of like... More

Nice College but campus is heavily integrated with the city of Charleston, hard to tell where the campus begins with buildings right on King St. Great city, more female students. Our daughter liked it but preferred Univ. of South Carolina, with the private campus feel and sports activities, sororities, etc.

Anyone touring and visiting downtown Charleston will not be able to miss this college. The architecture, buildings and landscape of this campus is scenic, pure southern atmosphere and spectacular. The calmness on site is relaxing and seems very conducive to the education environment. The pathways and tree scape enhance the beauty of the environment. I've been to a few college... More

I helped my girlfriend's sister move in as a freshman to this campus and took the opportunity to walk around campus. Campus police kept everything flowing smoothly.

I love this college. I lived in the Charleston area for over 13 years. I hated to leave. I volunteered for the wind ensemble at The College so I got to walk the campus a lot over the years. You must walk through the parts of the campus that are in between Coming Street and St. Phillips Street.

Our son is a Freshman in the REACH program for autistic and learning differently students. The staff, professors, mentors, administration could not be better. It is a friendly, warm campus that is also absolutely beautiful sitting in the middle of historic Charleston. Their facilities are top notch. Great fitness center, theater, music, activities for students.

The main quad of the campus is very picturesque and worth a 15-20 minute walk. Very nice landscaping and lots of historic buildings to enjoy.

My daughter just transferred to C of C and she is loving it and I loved it when we moved her in. The campus is right in the heart of historic downtown Charleston, you can walk to anything and everything. It is urban enough and still has the feel of a quaint town. There is so much to do and... I came to see the College because of the many positive reviews here on Trip Advisor and I wasn't disappointed. Coming in via George St. you enter via a beautiful arch which then reveals an impressive big building right in front with high pillars supporting a triangular top, giving me the impression of greek buildings I saw on historic greek...
