Out group had a wonderful time out on the water with the 9pm tour! The views of downtown Charleston at night were impressive and there wasn't a lot of other boats on the water. We got to see the night time skyline and some amazing super yachts all lit up along the City Dock. Really unique experience!

Fun time on the party boat. The weather didn't exactly cooperate, it was a bit cold. We were two couples and a bachelorette party. We weren't sure how that would turn out but, coincidentally, the girls were from our hometown in NY and NJ. Crazy as that was, they were super sweet and we had a great time with them. The captain and his mate (Connor & Henry) were very nice. They played music that had us dancing and singing. We provided our own drinks and snacks, while ice & cups were included. The ride took us 25 minutes out to a restaurant where we could use the facilities and buy drinks/food during a 15 minute stop. Then we returned back to the dock. It's not really a sightseeing tour just a fun way to some drinks and hoop it up. Here's a shout-out to Jenna and her crew. See you back home!!

Awesome time and great experience from start to finish! The boat had three celebrations taking place, a bachelorette party and two birthday’s. They made sure to recognize and make each and every one special! My wife and I would highly recommend Saltwater Cycle for any occasion!

The trip itself was fun. However, I have to agree with a similar review in saying that I was really taken aback by being solicited at the beginning and end of the trip, after having already paid HUNDREDS of dollars in automatic gratuity when we booked. I was told that the company takes part of the gratuity, and then part goes to taxes. When I questioned the part about the company taking part of the gratuity, he walked back on his statement and mentioned about how part goes to taxes. So he has basically just asking for tax free money.
On a similar note, if you book the whole boat, by the time his gratuity is included, it is about $1000. The gratuity is the same whether you have four, six, ten, or 18 people on board, which we didn’t realize at first and definitely would have made us pause before we booked a private tour if we had realized it. You’re better off taking your chances on a non-private tour unless you are close to the max capacity.

Due to the omicron surge, our group decided to do a private boat tour (there were 10 of us) - weather was gorgeous and the cruise was JUST what we all needed. Henry and the captain were wonderful - their music list was 'spot on', vibe was very chill and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great way to 'ring in' 2022 safely.
I highly recommend this boat tour as super relaxing and fun. Thanks Saltwater Cycle!

Logan and Sully were our hosts on the Saltwater Cycle and were absolutely incredible! We were in Charleston for a bachelorette trip and this was by far the best part of the weekend. I 100% recommend this to anyone that comes to Charleston, it was so fun and totally worth every penny. I will be back!

Love how this party is on the water! Libby was so nice on the phone and booked my group the day of which we appreciated. However I rate our experience a 3 star instead of a 5 because the staff didnt have as much customer service skills as we would have liked/expected. I have done pedal tours before so my hopes were down when the boat staff Logan wouldn't take our picture when I asked nicely, he said to wait til we got to the bridge but then never took it so we had to ask a girl from a bachelorette group. He just stood there, I would have thought he would interact more and even offer to serve us refills. I asked the captain for a certain song request that my group and one of the other groups thought of and he said he was only doing song requests for tips. I had already gave him a $20 and didnt feel like their service deserved more. As someone in the hospitality industry, I know how easy it is to make a guest feel appreciated and served. My group loved the boat setup and Libby's customer service but next summer we will probably try another company.

Thank you for your feedback! We are glad your group enjoyed their time on the water and we always welcome any feedback. Since our tours are BYOB, our staff does not offer refills, as guests are free to reach into the built-in coolers on the bar to grab their own drinks! We are currently trying to give guests a bit more space as well at this time for both yours and the crews safety. I'm not sure if there was a bit of a misunderstanding, we do take song requests however gratuity is not required in any way. The crew does greatly appreciates all gratuities. We hope you will join us next summer to show you the Saltwater Cycle way!

Our ride with Saltwater Cycle was one of the highlights of my bachelorette trip! We were treated to 3 dolphins swimming near our boat (captured in photo) and the whole group was so excited. It’s BYOB, so we were able to bring our own seltzers to enjoy. I would highly recommend this if you’re traveling with a group!

Saltwater Cycle was amazing! I booked it for my friend's bachelorette party. We had some weather issues, but the folks at Saltwater were fantastic at keeping in contact with us before our ride. Luckily we got out on the water and got to see the beautiful views. 100% book this for your Charleston trip — you get to see a different side of the area and if you got lucky like us made friends with the group we shared our ride with!
