Took our kids when it was too hot for the beach and they loved it! Lots of hands on activities and learning centers. Staff are above and beyond friendly and informative! The Sea Turtle Hospital was definitely the highlight of the visit and worth the...More

I volunteer at an aquarium near home so I was eager to check out this aquarium. Being a sucker for any animal that swims, flies, runs or slithers, I enjoyed seeing the wide variety of fellow Earth travelers represented by the aquarium's collection. One could...More

The Aquarium was a nice indoor activity on a hot afternoon. Staff was very nice. We were surprised but pleased when we figured out they have their own parking garage right across the street but drove by several times since it was not designated as...More

Went to the aquarium on a day when it was too rainy to be at the beach. This was a great option for our 3 and 6 year olds. Something for most ages. Staff was very friendly.

This aquarium is good for children, as there is a lot that would appeal to them. Overall, there are not many animals. The 4D theater is pretty cool, but a thing on your seat pokes out and nudges your back, which is unexpected. The touch...More

The highlight is that the aquarium lets you buy shrimp to feed to the sting rays and also lets you touch them when they're near the top of the water, which they aren't very often. Overall, not much to do here so it only takes...More

We absolutely loved it. The 4d sea monster movie they played was really cool. You should put that on your list to do in Charleston. Perfect for a rainy day activity or sunny day.

Now this is a very small aquarium but it was also very nice. It was clean also. We went to the Sea Turtle Hospital which was amazing. I wish all of the money went to this portion but I don't think it does. The workers...More

I went here with my husband, my sister-in-law, our combined seven kids, and my mom (grandma to the 7 grand kids) today. The kids especially enjoyed the two touch tank areas- one just after ticketing and the other on the upper level. In addition, there...More

The Sea Turtle Tour was extra ($15 each), but I think they mentioned something about ending the tours soon because they will be opening a new Sea Turtle Hospital. I recommend the tour if still available. We had a great time... More
