We took the morning 9:30 free walk tour and we’re so glad we did. Our guide was a mass of information and always found a shady spot for us to sit while he shared info. The morning was cooler for the walk and the parking was easier to find. We paid him whatever we chose to pay. For the 2 of us we of $50. Also because we took this tour we were given a big discount at the slave market museum. I don't know if the Free Charleston Tours has shut down, but I bought two tickets through Groupon in late November, and send an email to the address given on December 5th to schedule. I heard nothing back, so I sent a follow-up email and called their number again on December 26th. Still nothing. Fortunately, the Groupon was only $3.80.…
