This is such a fun gallery. There are lots of paintings and sculptures of dogs and other animals. This gallery has a number of different artists showing here. The main theme is animals. The people working there can answer questions about the art and artists. This is a great little gallery.…

My family and I happened upon the Dog & Horse Fine Art Gallery while walking, exploring the streets of Historic Charleston. We were intrigued initially by the name, Dog & Horse, which is located next to another business named Goat Sheep Cow. Once inside, we gazed upon beautiful and unique works of art, most of them involving animal life. One painting, called Introvert and Extrovert, was beautiful to behold and had an intriguing story behind it. Each room inside the gallery had a different focus, yet led your eye easily from room to room, piece to piece. If we return to Charleston, I will definitely return to the Dog and Horse. This is a gallery that has some fun sculptures and beautiful paintings. Many are of animals. The sculpture of the dog sitting on the couch looks so real. There are numerous other sculptures around the gallery. There is a featured artist who was in the gallery during the art walk. There are several rooms within the gallery, all filled with paintings. Some of these are pet portraits and there are artists associated with the gallery who do commissions. There are also pillows with pet portraits available. This is a fun little gallery to visit.…
