About The Schooner Pride
The Schooner Pride is an authentic replica of the 18th century tall ships that once dotted the Charleston Harbor carrying supplies and passengers to and from the plantations. She is USCG certified for up to 49 passengers and is the only 3 mast tall ship that offers public sails in Charleston Harbor. You can sit back and enjoy the the views and gentle ocean breeze or get involved with trimming the sails. We are not a narrated tour, but are happy to answer questions and point out interesting landmarks! Daily afternoon and sunset sails are available March - Early November. Special group sails and private charters available year round!

The cruise is comfortable, easy to board, the crew is accommodating and quite helpful with the sights. Drinks are available. When the crew hoists the sales, it is a very calming and relaxing sail. We very much enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Captain Chris and his crew were relaxed, confident and approachable. They made the entire sail fun and a great experience. We are in Charleston for the week for our honeymoon and really enjoyed this beautiful sail around the harbor. The crew put on music and socialized with the passengers while pointing out nearby dolphins, landmarks and other vessels in the harbor. We would highly recommend it and would go back and try the sunset sail if we had more time here! Thanks again for another great memory of Charleston during our honeymoon!

I was expecting a true sailing experience, however this, sadly, was not it! I have been sailing since before I could walk, so I know what I am talking about. This is a powerboat ride with sail's up. If the boat had engine issues, I would be very surprised if the captain & crew would know what to do. I feel like I was sold a falsely advertised trip!
