We didn’t go on the cruise because of a terrible storm. But we got soaked anyway waiting OUTSIDE in thunder and lightning while the captain was try to make a decision. Management should have canceled when they saw the storm approaching. There should have been a sign immediately when we arrived telling everyone the trip was canceled and assure all guests of a full refund. Or we should have received a text before we ever left our vehicles. There was no parking anywhere close so we were out in the elements getting drenched when we finally decided to leave. Trying to get our money back.

Cruise on the Carolina Princess was just fine. Great views of Fort Sumpter and the USS Yorktown. Reason for only 4-stars was the wait to board the boat. We had to line up and stand in the hot sun for over half an hour. There weren’t even any benches to sit on while we waited.

The captain did a good job of explaining things and teaching about Charleston. Get there early to get a good seat. The diesel smells at the back, so the front of the boat is preferable. Pleasant way to spend an hour.

We absolutely loved the sunset sailboat tour around the harbor. It was the first time on a sailboat for the four of us and one of us even got to help raise the sails. Captain and crew were very friendly and knowledgeable about Charleston and area. Would do it again!

Loved every minute of this wonderful sunset sail. From our wonderful Captain Andrew, whose sense of humor is outstanding, to Santino who kept us informed, entertained and was a delight to speak with to Jackson, who hoisted the sails and worked the other side of the boat, we couldn't have asked for a better final evening in Charleston. Our party of four most highly recommends this sunset sail as it will likely be the most memorable and enjoyable experience in this extraordinarily beautiful city. Thanks to Andrew, Santino and Lawrence for a beautiful sail and these happy memories.
