My wife and I were amazed at all of the things to see. The Rangers were awesome and helped with any questions. We will return.

We had a great time taking the boat ride with unbelievable December weather (low 70s). The boat ride includes a nice narrated tour of Charleston harbor. The park rangers at the Fort are both friendly and knowledgeable. A must see if you go to Charleston.

As I enjoy history, this was a treat to go see. While the time of year we were there (Jan '17) was not the best nor the weather (cold rain). It did not really dampen our adventure through the fort as we walked all around....More

The boat trip out is good for the views it affords of Charleston and the overall Harbor. The Fort itself speaks from the dead about it's Battles and importance.
