This was a very nice tour, Roddy was pleasant and made sure that everyone was doing well along the trip! First time kayakers were given good advice, and while we were seasoned boaters, Roddy made sure that the whole group managed along well! Definitely recommend this trip to anyone interested.

Awesome experience! Roddy was our tour guide and a wealth of local knowledge and history! It was a perfect morning weather wise and the tide was in our favor. Have been out with this company before and would go again!

For our 23rd anniversary, we decided to spend some time in the Hilton Head area. We booked a 2-hour kayak trip with Marsh Grass for Sunday morning at 8am. Even in the middle of August (one of our hottest and most humid months), we had a blast! Eric (our guide and the owner) was knowledgeable, friendly and completely accommodating. We... More

My wife and I and our 12 yr old granddaughter went paddle boarding with Marshgrass Adventures and had a great time. Roddie was our guide and did an excellent job. They take you out on the May River so you don't have to contend with the tides too much. The instructions were great, my granddaughter and I both stood up... More

Eric and his guides were very professional upon booking our kayaking adventure. We were told no experience necessary that they would provide the instruction. When we arrived at the dock, they were already there with kayaks lined up and waiting for us. Again, they were super professional, on-time and provided us with a 10 minute instruction on how to row.... More

Great instruction while making it fun. My 13 yr old had never SUP but within 5 minutes he stood up. Highly recommend, beautiful scenery and Meaghan had me in stitches as did Ronnie.

My husband and I found a Groupon for a two hour kayak tour on the May River. Our guide, Lucy, was very knowledgeable about the ecosystem and the wildlife in the marshlands. While kayaking during high tide we saw a great blue heron, egrets, and oyster drilling snails. This two hour guided tour was relaxing and very enjoyable.

You might as well do your own tour, self guided, it's cheaper and literally our guide did nothing for us.

These guys are awesome! A small company that will treat you like family. Great wildlife viewing and uncrowded (although we were there mid week). They knew a lot of history of the the area in and around Bluffton which is rich in civil war history. Knowledgeable staff, safe and they know what they are doing!

It sounds like other people had a great time going; unfortunately, we never got a chance. After booking a trip through groupon and securing a trip time in advance, Eric called to cancel. As he put it, the deal we got was so good that he had to cancel the trip because he was losing money, as we were the... More
