Apple bread grilled cheese is a large portion and can be shared with two people if you have small appetites. Taste is good but very greasy. Cost is expensive at $9 for grilled cheese. Fries are underwhelming and there are no individual portions of ketchup...More

Literally years of me driving past The Big Apple and finally we stopped in. Unfortunately it was pouring rain when we were there and I think a lot of others stopped in for a break too. We were on our way to Montreal from Toronto....More

The Big Apple was always a place I enjoyed visiting on a Sunday afternoon when the kids were small. Now, not so much. $16 for two grilled cheese sandwiches and NO FRIES. I thought for sure, for that price, at least a handful? It didn't...More

On our way home from southwestern Ontario, we decided to have lunch at the Red Apple. It is just off the exit and easy to reach, with ample parking. It is like a multi-faceted diamond: restaurant, candy store (you can watch it being made), bakery...More

Quirky stop along the high way is worth a short visit. The apple pie is downright amazing and I think it is probably more fun in the summer.
